Warning: Spoilers below for Netflix's Let It Snow!

Netflix's Let It Snow soundtrack includes songs from all genres, which is fitting considering the movie features an ensemble cast through an array of diverse subplots. Since Let It Snow is a Christmas movie, there are, of course, a few holiday tunes thrown in. The Christmas romantic comedy, directed by Luke Snellin, is based on the 2008 novel, Let It Snow: Three Holiday Romances, by author John Green.

Let It Snow follows a group of high school students as their small town gets hit by a snowstorm on Christmas Eve. There's Tobin (Mitchell Hope), who's in love with his closest friend, Angie (Kiernan Shipka) aka "The Duke", and then there's BFFs Dorrie and Addie (Liv Hewson and Odeya Rush, respectively), who are suffering from their own relationship struggles. Across town, Julie (Isabela Merced) finds herself serving as a local tour guide to a pop star named Stuart (Shameik Moore) after his train breaks down. The separate storylines eventually converge when they are all brought together for Keon's (Jacob Batalon) party at the local Waffle Town restaurant. By the end of the night, the group is reminded that one day can change everything.

Jacob Batalon in Netflix's Let It Snow movie trailer

As Netflix subscribers awaited the release of Let It Snow, they most likely caught the trailer which featured "Don't Take the Money" by Bleachers. As for the actual movie, Let It Snow starts with Joan Cusack's Tin Foil Woman sharing about the power of snow while Shameik Moore's original song, "First Christmas [That I Loved You]" plays. The song was exclusively written for Let It Snow and it plays again at the end of the movie. The other holiday songs come from by The Harvey Averne Band, Nathanial Mayer, Slow Club, and Summer Camp.

Another key song in Let It Snow is "The Whole of the Moon" by The Waterboys. It plays around the ten-minute mark as Tobin is in his bedroom pulling out his chest hairs as Angie barges in. About a half-hour later, Tobin plays the song on the piano in the church while Angie sings the lyrics. Tobin joins in on the singing but the performance is cut short when JP interrupts the romantic moment. Later on, Tobin finally tells Angie how he feels about her and as the kiss on the roof of Waffle Town, "The Whole of the Moon" plays one last time.

The songs playing on the Let It Snow soundtrack during each subplot seem to be a unique playlist for each character. When the friends come together at the end of Let It Snow, dance music heavily takes over thanks to Waffle Town's resident DJ, Keon. The Christmas Eve partygoers dance and celebrate together to "No Geography" by The Chemical Brothers and "I Don't Wanna Wait Til Christmas" by Summer Camp to close out the film. Ric Wilson's "Don't Rush" then plays as the credits roll.
