LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is converting all nine films into a single, brick-filled package, and that includes a variety of the series' iconic vehicles for players to control. From Luke Skywalker's iconic X-Wing to the airspeeder his father leapt out of in pursuit of an assassin on Coruscant, players will have no shortage of vehicles to operate in between stints with a lightsaber or blaster. With the game's confirmed release date for LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga announced alongside a new gameplay overview, the list of pilot-able vehicles continues to grow.

The game has unfortunately had a drawn-out development period but is finally slated to release on April 5, 2022. The Skywalker Saga is expected to herald a new era for the long-running LEGO games series, of which Star Wars has frequently been a part. A wider scope appears to give players the chance to explore larger levels than ever, with a variety of side quests alongside the main story through all nine episodes. Gameplay has also been overhauled from top to bottom, including more intricate melee combat and third-person blaster shooting mechanics.

There will be plenty of planets on The Skywalker Saga's galaxy map that can be traveled to, and it appears that it can be done with the player's choice of starship. Once on the ground (or in the air for most speeders), though, players will have many other locomotive opportunities, including some that can't really be categorized as vehicles. Trailers have shown the player riding a Bantha, Orbak, Tauntaun, and what looks like a Dewback. Jetpacks also appear to be useable in the upcoming LEGO Star Wars game, but there are plenty of ships, such as Star Destroyers, that seemingly won't be operable because of their size.

Pilot-able Vehicles In LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

Players will be able to fly the Millennium Falcon and many other ships and speeders in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

Every Star Wars vehicle that has been shown to be pilot-able in trailers, or revealed through other means such as official LEGO sets, for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is as follows:

  • Anakin Skywalker's Podracer
  • AT-AT
  • AT-RT
  • Delta-7 Aethersprite-class Light Interceptor
  • Millennium Falcon
  • The Razor Crest
  • Slave One
  • Speeder Bike
  • T-47 Airspeeder
  • Tribubble Bongo
  • X-34 Landspeeder
  • X-J6 Airspeeder
  • X-Wing (including Poe Dameron's custom painted ones)
  • Y-Wing

Aside from this list, which pales in comparison to The Skywalker Saga's 300 playable characters, there are plenty of vehicles that appear in the trailers but weren't explicitly shown to be operated by the player, though it may be possible. These include the V-4X-D Ski Speeder, the Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry (aka Republic Gunship), the TIE-Series of ships used by the Galactic Empire and the First Order (including Kylo Ren's TIE Silencer), and the AT-ST. The inclusion of the Delta-7 Jedi Starfighter also makes it likely that the Eta-2 Actis-class Interceptor (also a Jedi Starfighter) will be pilot-able in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga as well.
