The full list of playable characters for the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has just been leaked, featuring 300 heroes and villains from across the nine main Star Wars films. Traveler’s Tales announced LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in 2019, and it was meant to coincide with the release of Star Wars Episode XI: The Rise Of Skywalker. However, the studio would suffer from multiple setbacks and development issues, causing LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to be delayed several times to its current launch date of April 5.

Like the previous four LEGO Star Wars games, The Skywalker Saga will recreate characters, stories, and moments from all three major Star Wars trilogies - including the previously unadapted The Last Jedi and The Rise Of Skywalker. Traveler’s Tales has promised that The Skywalker Saga will be one of its biggest LEGO games yet, featuring an open galaxy of planets for players to explore in addition to revamped lightsaber and blaster combat. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will also include a special “Mumble Mode,” which will replace the in-game dialogue pulled from the films with the sighs, mutters, and other noises of the older LEGO games - pleasing fans who missed the pantomimed retellings of the past while still satisfying those who have enjoyed the more talkative Minifigures of modern LEGO titles.

A game with the scope of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was expected to feature a massive list of playable characters, and the game’s full roster of minifigures has just been revealed in an Instagram post by 1414falconfan (via The Direct). As shown in this slideshow post, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker will feature 300 characters at launch, including building toy versions of expected Star Wars characters like Luke Skywalker, Rey, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, and Kylo Ren - along with surprising inclusions like Dexter Jettster and The Rise Of Skywalker’s diminutive droid programmer Babu Frick.

Not included on this list of playable LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga characters are any of the minifigures featured in any upcoming Skywalker Saga DLC expansions. Traveller's Tales has promised these expansions will cover spin-off films like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Disney Plus shows like The Mandalorian. Unfortunately, while Star Wars fans are certainly looking forward to blasting every LEGO brick in sight as Din Djarin or the rough-and-tumble members of the titular Bad Batch Clone Trooper squad, certain fan favorites like Omega and the immensely popular infant Grogu will not be playable - even though LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s DLC chapters will follow their stories.

Still, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s existing roster of 300 playable characters is quite massive, even taking into account the fact that a good many of these are variations of certain characters based on their changing attires or ages throughout the multiple decade-spanning, nine film Star Wars storyline. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga might not have the largest list of playable minifigures in the history of the LEGO gaming franchise, but fans young and old will have plenty of heroes, villains, droids, and bounty hunters to explore the Galaxy Far, Far, Away with when the game launches this April.
