Gonks are small droids that are usually harmless, but there's a rogue one on Exegol recruiting other Gonks to the Dark Side in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. There are three droids around the galaxy to recruit to the Knights of Gonk, and completing this side mission will unlock Gonkatine, the evil Gonk, as a playable character in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Players will also receive a Kyber Brick for finishing the quest.
In order to start the mission, players will need to be able to explore Exegol. This area is only unlocked by playing through The Rise of Skywalker. Players will also need to complete The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi to be able to play through The Rise of Skywalker. Once Exegol can be explored, players will be able to speak to Gonkatine and start the "Knights of Gonk" side mission.
In the Sith Citadel on Exegol, players can take the platform down and head toward the area with a clone maker in the middle. The stairs on the right behind the clone maker will lead to a small room where Gonkatine can be found. A Dark Side character in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga can speak to the droid to start the quest. Gonkatine will explain that it's looking for like-minded Gonks to commit evil acts and asks players to help recruit the droids. After accepting the quest, players will need to track down three Gonks around the galaxy.
How to Recruit Gonks in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
The first Gonk is located on Jakku in the Niima Outpost area. Each Gonk will have a search area to narrow down where to look, but players will still need to find the droid. In the southern part of Niima Outpost, players should see a blue Gonk chasing after someone. The Gonk's health will need to be drained to stop it. Once the Gonk stops, players can speak to it and recruit it to the Knights of Gonk on Exegol.
The second Gonk can be found on Tatooine in Mos Espa and it's located at the far end of the search area near the eastern edge. There's a Disgruntled Gonk Owner that will explain the droid in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is electrifying his storeroom door. Any character with Force abilities can pull the Gonk out of the socket, then speak to the droid to recruit it to the Knights of Gonk. Players will then need to travel to Canto Bight on Cantonica to find the last Gonk.
After landing, players can head to the northern part of the search area marked on the map. The Gonk owner can be spoken to on the ground, but the droid is up on the bridge above him. A Force user can stack the nearby crates to reach the bridge and speak to the third Gonk. Once the last Gonk is found, a prompt will appear to take players back to Gonkatine on Exegol. After speaking to Gonkatine, the "Knights of Gonk" side quest will be completed. A Kyber Brick will be awarded and Gonkatine will be unlocked as a playable character in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
