With LEGO games being known for their over-the-top humor, it's no surprise that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is full of comedic characters. The cutscenes throughout all nine episodes are consistently amusing and entertaining to watch. Although most of the cast provides some form of amusement at one point in the saga, there are a handful of main characters in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga that stand out above the rest as the funniest people, or droids, in the game.

The main characters aren't the only ones that provide amusement throughout LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Many of the supporting characters, like stormtroopers, are portrayed as silly or clumsy characters throughout the main story missions. For example, there's an Imperial Officer who hums Darth Vader's theme song, and in various sections of the game, stormtroopers are seen partying, bathing, and even stealing power to watch television. The comedy presented throughout the game ranges from subtle to more obvious, but all of it is enjoyable whether players are completing story missions or exploring the galaxy in Free Play.

There are a few characters in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga that have a really funny scene, but they aren't consistently funny throughout the game. The end of the Darth Maul fight shows him hopping around in pieces still trying to grab, or bite, his lightsaber and defeat the Jedi. Obi-Wan Kenobi has a dance fight with General Grievous, and Chewbacca can't seem to get his hands on a medal for his heroics. There's also an amusing scene where the entire supporting cast claims to be Queen Amidala before Padmé reveals the truth, like a LEGO version of Spartacus. Although these moments may stand out, the characters involved don't have enough comedic scenes throughout the game to be considered the funniest.

Han Solo Sticks To Classic Star Wars Humor In The Skywalker Saga

LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga's Funniest Characters Han Solo Thinking About Leia

Many of Han Solo's lines and reactions are throwbacks to memorable quotes and movie moments. Although most of the characters in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga are adapted, sometimes drastically, to fit in the LEGO universe, Han Solo maintains his classic, yet somehow charming, sarcasm. Whether he's yelling at Chewbacca, commenting on the group's dire circumstances, or trying to chase after Leia while still being cool, Han Solo stays true to his live-action counterpart. His short temper and constant frustration with his crewmates make Han an entertaining character to watch throughout the original trilogy.

LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga's Darth Vader Keeps Things Light

LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga's Funniest Characters Darth Vadar Working Out

There are a lot of emotional and intense moments with Darth Vader in the Star Wars films, but the LEGO version of this character makes the chaos and destruction seem less evil. Darth Vader enters at the beginning of A New Hope in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and he immediately gets his Lightsaber stuck in a door while chasing Leia. Even moments before striking down Obi-Wan, or Ben, Kenobi, Darth Vader is shown stretching and working out to keep the scene light.

It can be argued that this takes away from the seriousness of an iconic moment. But it actually makes the story more accessible for younger gamers while providing a comedic take on a classic scene for long-time Star Wars fans. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga makes Vader a consistently hilarious presence from start to end, even when he's inflicting harm on unlucky rebels.

C-3PO Is Unintentionally Funny In LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga

LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga Every Class That Can Be Upgraded Protocol Droid

C-3PO is a constant source of comedy throughout the game, and, while his crewmates clearly find him annoying, his inability to read the room or keep his mouth shut makes him one of the best characters to watch in cutscenes. This droid also lacks the ability to understand sarcasm, so he's often confused or just oblivious when other characters are frustrated with him. Characters in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga react to C-3PO similarly to what's shown in the films, but it's more pronounced and amusing in the game. C-3PO is constantly butting into conversations and, after getting his memory wiped in the sequel trilogy, he can't seem to stop introducing himself.

LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga's Luke Finds Humor In The Sequels

LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga's Funniest Characters Luke Lounging

In the original trilogy, Luke Skywalker goes from being an ambitious, but sometimes clumsy, kid to a serious Jedi Knight. However, he doesn't seem to find his humor until his later years, when he adopts many of the playful traits of his former master, Yoda. The first instance in the sequel trilogy comes when Luke starts humming the Star Wars theme song to drown out Rey's voice in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

His crankiness toward Rey may only come off as amusing because of Luke's established reputation as a lovable character, but there's no denying how funny he is when he messes with Kylo Ren. At the end of The Last Jedi, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga takes Luke's hologram trick a bit further at the expense of Kylo Ren, who can't seem to figure out what's going on. Kylo's frustrated cries juxtaposed with Luke's unapologetic taunting work well to make this scene very amusing.

LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga's Funniest Character - The Emperor

LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga's Funniest Characters Reattaching The Emporer's Hand

No matter which version of The Emperor is on screen, some humorous interactions or expressions can be expected. As Chancellor Palpatine, he is constantly hiding his Sith Lord paraphernalia whenever one of the Jedi in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga comes around. There are some intense scenes where The Emperor is inciting chaos or encouraging evil acts, but even those moments have a bit of humor. For example, at the end of Return of the Jedi, when Luke fights The Emperor, he pulls out fake LEGO lightning blocks and ineffectively tosses one before the real battle begins. Before that fight, The Emperor can also be seen holding up signs and cheering on Darth Vader as he attempts to defeat Luke.

One of the funniest changes made to the Star Wars stories can be seen in the final trilogy whenever The Emperor is shown on Exegol. His decaying state is conveyed clearly as he frequently falls apart and needs to be reassembled by other characters in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Even after defeating The Emperor, Exegol can be explored to experience more of the Dark Side's comedic nature. There are plaques all around the Sith Citadel describing activities like a Secret Sith Party where Cultists are required to bring their own robe. A lot of jokes throughout the game come from the dark side, so it's not surprising that The Emperor wins the title of funniest character in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
