LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will feature a number of DLC packs at launch, with content inspired by The Mandalorian and The Bad Batch, but there are other Star Wars Disney+ series that should come to the game eventually as well. The Skywalker Saga is already filled to the brim with content, with upward of 300 playable characters included in the game at launch. That said, Star Wars is ever-expanding, and with hotly anticipated series still to come on Disney+ in 2022 and beyond - including KenobiAndor, and Ahsoka - it would make sense for TT Games to add further DLC packs to LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga after its launch.

The Skywalker Saga features content from all nine main Star Wars films, but also from spin-offs like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Solo. The animated Clone Wars sequel, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, is also getting its own content pack, while The Mandalorian will receive two. Said packs can be unlocked by playing the game, but can also be accessed early depending on which edition of The Skywalker Saga players pick up, with the digital version coming with a classic yellow in-game Minifigure of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

If TT Games supports LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga post-launch with additional content, as has been the case with its previous LEGO games, then it should focus on content from Star Wars' TV shows. The studio already dedicated an entire game, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, to the 2008 Clone Wars animated series, and characters from that series can be spotted in LEGO: Skywalker Saga's recent gameplay overview trailer. It would be great if more could follow, with content from Star Wars Rebels, the ongoing Book of Boba Fett, and the highly anticipated Kenobi all having the potential to bring great bonus missions and playable characters to the game.

LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga Needs Rebels DLC

LEGO Star Wars Force Awakens LEGO DLC

Although there's a chance that Star Wars Rebels characters and content will be included in the base edition of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, none of the series' characters have featured in the game's trailers thus far. This may mean that they appear in DLC form, as was the case with LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which included a DLC pack dedicated to Rebels that brought the likes of Ezra, Sabine, and Kanan to the game. This means that TT Games already has the Minifigure models available for the Rebels characters, which should make their appearance as characters in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga more likely.

LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga Needs More Kenobi Content

LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga Obi Wan Kenobi

The next Star Wars series to arrive on Disney+ after The Book of Boba Fett is Kenobi, which will see Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen reprise their roles as the eponymous Jedi Master and his apprentice-cum-adversary Darth Vader. The series is arguably the most anticipated Star Wars show to arrive in 2022, and it would make sense for it to feature in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Obi-Wan will have multiple Minifigures in the title, but a character pack based on Kenobi could bring a new look to the game, as well as a potential new design for Darth Vader. The series' other characters are yet to be confirmed, but concept art did show an Inquisitor similar to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order's Second Sister.

LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga DLC - The Book Of Boba Fett

Star Wars Lego Boba Fett

Although it's possible that Boba Fett's post-Return of the Jedi look will be brought to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga through one of its Mandalorian-based add-ons, there's plenty to mine in The Book of Boba Fett series as well. The series has introduced multiple new characters to Star Wars, and has even brought Wookiee gladiator Black Krrsantan from the comics to live-action. LEGO Krrsantan alone would be worth making a Book of Boba Fett DLC for The Skywalker Saga, but there are other elements of the show that would be great to see in LEGO form too, none more so than its portrayal of the Tuskens.

Book of Boba Fett-inspired DLC for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga could potentially include a level devoted to Boba's time with the Tuskens, concluding when he forges his gaffi stick and is fully accepted into the tribe. Fan-favorite Tuskens could also feature as one of LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga's playable characters. Plus, the opportunity to ride a bantha all over Tatooine and reenact Boba's nomadic years would be great to see in LEGO form.

Ahsoka DLC Could Bring Thrawn To LEGO Star Wars

Lego Star Wars Force Awakens Ahsoka

There's already an extremely high chance that Ahsoka will feature in the base edition of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and that it may include multiple incarnations of the character. However, the upcoming Ahsoka series is hotly anticipated, as it's looking increasingly likely as though it'll bring Thrawn into live-action. Thrawn is one of Star Wars' most beloved villains, having debuted in Timothy Zahn's Heir to the Empire novel in 1991, and his ambiguous fate from Star Wars Rebels looks set to be revealed in Ahsoka.

There's little that Lucasfilm has revealed regarding the upcoming series, but it looks as though it'll crossover with The Mandalorian and its adjacent series. Star Wars TV is building up to a huge event through these shows, and though said event will likely conclude years after LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga's release date, TT Games could still capitalize on it by including content on the shows releasing beforehand.

Clone Wars & Other Star Wars Shows That Could Be LEGO DLC

LEGO Star Wars 3 The Clone Wars Box Art

On top of the selection of new Star Wars shows coming to Disney+, there are a number of classic series on the streaming service that TT Games could also bring into LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The 2003 Clone Wars micro-series from Samurai Jack creator Genndy Tartakovsky has never been represented in LEGO form before, but it would be a welcome surprise if that were that to change with The Skywalker Saga. Failing that, content from the final season of the 2008 Clone Wars series would also be exciting. The Siege of Mandalore would make for a brilliant level or location in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and there are also the 'lost' episodes that aired on Netflix to consider too.

Whatever the case, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has a massive amount of content already. The game features more characters than any of the previous LEGO titles, and its most recent gameplay trailer illustrates that it's on a completely different scale to anything else TT Games has done. There are avenues to expand that base experience, though, should the studio decide to make it even bigger.
