Some bad news for PlayStation players looking forward to picking up LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga as the requirements to get every trophy are apparently quite steep. The PlayStation trophy system has been the best way for players to flex their achievements, in particular, the platinum trophy that signifies a player has unlocked every achievement in the game. It's a significant feat and in the case of the upcoming LEGO Star Wars game, that will be even more difficult.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga promises to be the most ambitious entry in the LEGO game franchise yet. Covering all nine of the main films in the Star Wars the games will feature planets, characters, and weapons that movie-goers have loved for decades, now in LEGO form. The game will feature hundreds of playable characters from the Star Wars franchise. And this cast will be added to via DLC, which will bring content from other Star Wars spinoffs like The MandalorianRogue One, and Clone Wars. In short, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will feature a ton of content for players to explore. Judging by the amount of time it will take to unlock all the trophies, that may be for the best.

According to Exophase as found by Twitter user Next Gen Player, the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga trophies have been revealed. According to Next Gen Player, all those achievements total to requiring the player to earn ten billion studs during their playthrough. Although this does not require the player to actually bank the ten billion studs, it is merely the estimated cost of unlocking all the content needed to get every other trophy in LEGO Star Wars. Once all the available achievements have been unlocked, the player will receive the platinum trophy, signifying that they have completely beaten the game's challenges. That ten billion stud figure has, predictably, caused some eager players to balk a bit at the time investment.

Studs are the currency of all LEGO games, earnable by completing tasks and missions. Usually needed to unlock new content such as playable characters, of which LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has over 300, studs are also incredibly important for powering up characters. It seems that the game's trophy list, assuming the leaks are accurate, is asking a lot of its players.

Hype for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is already at a fever pitch. Players are getting ready for the release by playing the older games in the LEGO Star Wars series. That practice will likely be needed, as players will apparently need a lot of time and dedication to get the fabled platinum trophy for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
