The latest My Nintendo is a Lego Mario keychain, with a Lego Luigi figure being offered to Lego VIP members. Nintendo collaborated with Lego on a Super Mario Bros. set last year, with a Lego Luigi set released in 2021.

The Lego Mario sets are similar to the toys-to-life concept, with the actual Lego Mario figure possessing Bluetooth connectivity to the different obstacles in his set. This means that the Lego Mario figure can react while it's being played with, in a way that mimics the features of an actual Super Mario Bros. game. There have been several additional Lego Mario expansion sets released, which have added locations like Bowser's Castle. There are lots of possible expansions for the Lego Mario sets and fans are wondering if there will be Lego sets based on other first-party Nintendo franchises in the future, such as The Legend of Zelda.

The previous My Nintendo rewards have varied in quality, with most of them being regular promotional items for first-party Nintendo games. With that said, the latest My Nintendo reward is one of the best yet. According to a post on the official My Nintendo website, My Nintendo users can spend 400 Platinum Points to acquire a Lego Mario Keychain. The only cost is the P&P for the figure. Each user account is limited to a single Lego Mario keychain. Still, fans can also buy Lego Mario & Lego Luigi digital wallpapers for 50 Platinum Points apiece.

The people who are members of the Lego VIP club can also claim a Lego Luigi keychain. Fortunately for those that aren't members of the Lego VIP club, My Nintendo users can claim 250 Lego VIP points for free, which can be spent on the Lego Luigi keychain. There is also a Lego Mario prize draw on offer, where users can spend 10 Platinum Points to enter, with three maximum entries on offer. The prize draw will have fifteen winners, and the prizes on offer include gold-colored versions of the Lego Mario & Lego Luigi keychains, an Adventures with Mario Starter Course, an Adventures with Luigi Starter Course, and a Bowser's Airship Expansion Set

The Lego Mario sets have had a bad rap over the past year, when Lego Mario started calling for Luigi, in what has been described as a creepy and invasive form of advertising. Not everyone is into Lego, but these Lego Mario keychains are still some of the best offerings on the My Nintendo store, especially after years of so-so merchandise, which left people uninterested in the service.
