A gorgeous new LEGO set based on the Harry Potter series lets fans build the iconic Hogwarts Express train. The beloved fantasy films, which star Daniel Radcliffe as the titular Harry Potter, are based on J.K. Rowling's series of young adult fantasy books. The franchise's enduring popularity has led to the creation of numerous LEGO Harry Potter sets, and now fans will be able to take Harry and his friends on the move.
Kicking off back in 2001, the live-action Harry Potter film series serves as a worthy adaptation of J.K. Rowling's young adult book series. The eight-film franchise explores Harry's years at the iconic Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, during which he becomes entangled in magical adventures alongside his friends Hermione Granger (played by Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint). Running nearly four feet long, this 1:32 scale replica of the iconic train includes interiors where players cam recreate four scenes from throughout the Harry Potter franchise. The Hogwarts Express set comes with 20 character minifigures, including Harry and the dreaded Dementor, and a lever that makes the set rock like a real locomotive. At more than 5,100 pieces, this LEGO Harry Potter set is intended for display by builders 18 and up.
