The trailer for the third episode of Legends of Tomorrow season 3 introduces new team member Zari (Tala Ashe). The Legends have spent the first two episodes of the season finding their feet again, after the catastrophic events of the season 2 finale. 'Aruba-Con' saw the introduction of the Time Bureau, as the team is disbanded and then reunited once more. Then, 'Freakshow' brought us a new helper for the big bad, as well as getting the last team member back on board the Waverider.

Now, the season 2 Legends are back together again (minus Rip (Arthur Darvill) who is busy with the Time Bureau), and it's time to start introducing new characters for this season. At some point, Constantine (Matt Ryan) will be joining the crew, and sadly, Professor Stein (Victor Garber) will be leaving, but next up on the roster change is the addition of Zari in next week's episode.

The episode, titled 'Zari', got a new trailer from The CW today, giving fans a little hint at Zari's powers, and at how uninterested she is in becoming a hero. The trailer is under 30 seconds long, and shows the Zari's impressive criminal record and hactivist abilities, as well as her touching her chest and shooting off into the sky. She also asks Mick (Dominic Purcell) if the Legends are stalking her, showing that she's not too happy about the attentions of the team.

It's no secret that Zari isn't keen to join the Legends, as she has previously been described as a 'reluctant hero' - and one who wants to do more than just fix anachronisms. From the future, she wants to make some changes, and she is bound to butt heads with the rest of the team. She is also something of a new character for the show, although she has some basis in comics as the character of Isis - who has the powers of the Egyptian goddess. What, exactly, her powers are on Legends, however, has yet to be revealed.

It's going to be interesting to see how the Legends convince Zari to come aboard the Waverider, and how this hacktivist is going to deal with her new Captain. Zari is of interest to the Legends to help them catch a rogue time-traveler, but it's not clear why she stays on as a member of the team. Zari and Mick are sure to have some interesting interactions, given their criminal history, of course, and it's nice to see more female superheroes joining the crew as well.
