Vampires Attack in New Legends of Tomorrow Trailer

The Legends are fighting vampires in Victorian London in next week's episode of Legends of Tomorrow, "Return of the Mack", which will reunite the team with their former leader, Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill).

Since the Legends "broke time" in the season 2 finale, Rip formed the Time Bureau to clean up the Legends' mess, causing the team to lose the ship and split up. After an encounter with Julius Caesar during his vacation in Aruba, Rory (Dominic Purcell) reunited the Legends to fix the anachronisms. Since then, the team dealt with a saber-toothed tiger in P.T. Barnum's circus in the 1870s, a time-traveling assassin in a dystopian future, and a baby Dominator in the 1980s.

In the promo for next week's episode, titled "Return of the Mack", the Legends are shown dealing with their latest threat: a vampire attack. The promo begins with a child shouting the news of another vampire victim. Rory reads a copy of Bram Stoker's horror classic, Dracula, Stein (Victor Garber) expresses skepticism about the existence of vampires, and Sara (Caity Lotz) discusses using bait to lure them out. While digging in a graveyard, the Legends are spooked when a hand reaches up from the ground and grabs one of them.

The CW has released a synopsis for the episode:

HELPING ONE OF THEIR OWN — When Nate (Nick Zano) thinks he has found a pattern to the anachronisms, it leads the Legends to London in 1897 to hunt down a time-traveling vampire. When they arrive in London, they run into Rip (guest star Arthur Darvill), but not everyone welcomes him back so quickly, leaving Sara (Caity Lotz) to make a tough choice in the end. Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) tries to connect with Zari (Tala Ashe), but she is still struggling with being part of the team. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) discovers what Ray (Brandon Routh) and Jax (Franz Drameh) are up to and is not entirely pleased. Dominic Purcell also stars.

A Dracula-inspired episode featuring Rip Hunter was previously confirmed by showrunner Phil Klemmer. It's unclear who will play the Prince of Darkness, if he appears at all, or if the villain will be a different character. This wouldn't be the Legends' first supernatural threat, nor will it be the last, since the team is also set to encounter Constantine sometime in season 3.
