In season 1, Legends of Tomorrow established a premise that saw the crew of the Waverider traverse all of time and space (so long as that space was relegated to Earth) in their efforts to track down and defeat Vandal Savage. Now with the show in its second season, the premise for Legends of Tomorrow has somewhat changed, with the team members traveling through time in order to correct time aberrations that would rewrite history.

So far in Legends of Tomorrow season 2, the team has traveled to feudal Japan, the southern U.S. during the American Civil War, U.S. President Reagan's administration during the 1980s, the Old West (crossing paths again with Jonah Hex), and 1920s Chicago during Al Capone's time as a gangster. Now, the title for an upcoming Legends of Tomorrow episode teases a new location -- one that viewers may have briefly seen before.

Legends of Tomorrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim tweeted a photo of the production draft script cover sheet for episode 13 of season 2, to be titled 'Land of the Lost' -- written by Kept Shimizu and Ray Utarnachitt and directed by Ralph Hemecker. Take a look at the photo:

Land of the Lost was a television series in the 1970s following a family that finds themselves in a land inhabited by dinosaurs, as well as ape-like people and lizard creatures. Throughout the series, the family members spend their time trying to find a way home as well as exploring the land. It's unclear if Legends of Tomorrow will incorporate elements of the classic Land of the Lost television series into its episode, or if it's simply a nod to the show while the episode sees the Legends travel back to a prehistoric era.

Of course, if the Legends do travel back to a time of dinosaurs, it won't be their first trip among the prehistoric creatures. In the season 2 premiere when then-captain Rip Hunter scattered his team members across time and space, Ray Palmer was sent back 70 million years and the crew found him being chased by a T-Rex. While it's unclear whether 'Land of the Lost' will in fact see the Legends travel to a prehistoric era, the title's connection to the 1970s sci-fi series certainly teases a new time period for the team to explore.

Still, it's not the first time a Legends of Tomorrow episode title has referenced a beloved property. In fact, the winter premiere of season 2 is titled 'Raiders of the Lost Art', an obvious play on the title of the original Indiana Jones film, Raiders of the Lost Ark. Whether these Legends of Tomorrow episodes live up to their titles remains to be seen, but the series has improved upon weaving its respective time periods in with the narrative of season 2. So, fans can at least expect plenty of adventure in both the winter premiere and 'Land of the Lost'.
