Legends of Tomorrow promises to up the ante by traveling to even more historic locations, including the Golden Age of Hollywood, and London during the Victorian era. The CW series, set in the Arrowverse, combines characters from Arrow and The Flash with original characters and takes them on a journey through the timestream in Rip Hunter's ship, the Waverider. In season 1, the Legends had to travel through time to defeat Rip's nemesis, Vandal Savage.

Season 2 pitted the crew against a group of supervillains called the Legion of Doom who were trying to assemble a powerful artifact called the Spear of Destiny. The Legends violated the rules of time travel in order to stop them, but at the cost of "breaking time." Season 3 will explore the Legends' efforts to fix their mistake.

In an interview with Collider, Legends of Tomorrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim teased some of the locations the Legends will visit in season 3. In the coming episodes, viewers will see a circus in the 1800s, Victorian London, and the Golden Age of Hollywood.

In the San Diego Comic-Con trailer, fans got a preview of the Legends' trip to the circus, which also included an Easter egg of the superhero B'wana Beast. The episode will feature P.T. Barnum, the founder of Barnum & Bailey Circus, played by Billy Zane.

It's unclear who or what the Legends will encounter in Hollywood and London, though a trip to the Golden Age of Hollywood could easily feature appearances from iconic stars like Humphrey Bogart, John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe, and Clark Gable. In London, the Legends could encounter any number of historical figures, from Charles Dickens to Lewis Carroll to Oscar Wilde.

In season 1, the crew of the Waverider traveled to various moments in the 20th century, as well as the Old West and the distant future. Season 2 took the Legends to the Revolutionary War, Camelot, and World War I. The new locations teased by Guggenheim only adds to the long list of time periods explored by the team. It's already been confirmed that in season 3 the series will go back to the 1980s, and in a different episode will meet Julius Caesar, played by Simon Merrells. It won't be long now before fans finally find out what awaits the heroes in their next season.
