The ramifications of this timeline position are still unclear, but if Breath of the Wild is receiving a sequel, then fans may find out the answer in a future game. The beautiful visuals and gorgeous character models of Link's Awakening were some of the most praised aspects of the title. Link's Awakening is one of the best-selling Switch games and Nintendo could potentially reuse its aesthetic for remakes of A Link to the Past, The Minish Cap, or the Oracle games. A Breath of the Wild-style Legend of Zelda game with the visuals of Link's Awakening would be impressive to see, but Nintendo isn't likely to make one anytime soon. Much like Link in Link's Awakening, the fans will have to dream of what could be.Next: Why The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Is Getting A SequelSource: Stephen J. Plant/Twitter
