Warner Bros. has just premiered a new trailer for the upcoming fantasy movie, Legend of the Guardians over at Yahoo. But don't worry, we've saved you the trouble by embedding it below.
The plot of Legend of the Guardians is as follows:
Soren, a young barn owl, is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie’s, ostensibly an orphanage, where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga’Hoole, to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie’s. The film is based on the first three books in the series Guardians of Ga’Hoole by author Kathryn Lasky.

Just like the first Legend of the Guardians trailer, the second one makes great use of the 30 Seconds to Mars song "Kings and Queens" (I wondered how long it was gonna be before some studio used that song in a trailer ;-) ). It really helps to give the film an epic feel, which I imagine was the aim.
Legend of the Guardians comes to us courtesy of director Zack Snyder, the man behind such awesome films as 300 and Watchmen. I'm glad that the director hasn't abandoned his highly stylish visuals for his first non-comic book movie since 2004's Dawn of the Dead.
I'm still not completely sold on Guardians though (the owls still look very odd to me), but I'm definitely willing to give the movie a shot. What do you think of the latest trailer? Is this film on your must-see list?

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole soars into theaters on September 24th, 2010.
