A sequel to The Last Of The Mohicans has always been extremely unlikely - and more so than ever, following Daniel Day-Lewis' acting retirement. There was, however, talk of a Last Of The Mohicans TV show, with Watchmen's Nicole Kassell and Cary Joji Fukunaga (No Time To Die) set to collaborate on the project. Kassell was also set to direct the pilot episode, but following the announcement of this Last Of The Mohicans show, little has been heard about its progress since 2020.
