Here's every appearance by Jason Sudeikis' Mike Miller on sitcom The Last Man On Earth. Not many sitcoms work from a post-apocalyptic premise, but The Last Man On Earth is a rare exception. The series follows Will Forte as Phil Miller, who is seemingly the last living person on the planet when the series begins. After nearly being driven insane due to loneliness, Phil discovers he's not alone - though he might start to wish he was.

The Last Man On Earth received good reviews and ran for four seasons in total, which charted Phil's evolutional from a self-absorbed manchild to something approaching an adult as he bonded with his new wife and other survivors. The show worked as both a creative sitcom and drama too, while it attracted a parade of fun cameos from the likes of Jon Hamm, Alexandra Daddario, Jack Black, Kristen Wiig and many others.

Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso) went beyond the cameo approach to play a key supporting role on The Last Man On Earth. The actor played Mike, the astronaut brother of Forte's Phil. If Phil has any kind of inferiority complex it's no doubt in small part to having a brother who outshined him from an early age, including saving multiple lives when he was only a teenager. It's established at the end of The Last Man On Earth season 1 that Mike is all alone in a space station, and he later has a much bigger role in season 2. Here's every appearance on the show by Mike.

After being stranded, Cast Away-style, in space, Mike decides to head back to Earth and learns firsthand how bleak it is without people. He then follows a trail to find Phil, but soon the pair are bickering, with Mike even shaving off one-half of Phil's body hair for a prank. When he starts coughing blood towards the end of the second season, it's assumed he's dying of the virus. The brothers bid an emotional goodbye as Mike heads off to face his fate alone.

He later returns alive and well in The Last Man On Earth season 4's "Designated Survivors." It turns out the blood was due to him returning from space with a weak immune system, and after he recovered he spent time trying to track down Phil and the others. That proved to be his last outing on the series, which itself ended on an unresolved cliffhanger.
