The miniseries Last Light debuted this September, delighting fans of Lost, as its lead actor Matthew Fox was seen as a TV show protagonist after quite a long time. Fox plays a petro-chemist in this post-apocalyptic drama that deals with the last days of Earth's oil supply. When the planet's quota of fossil fuels depletes, chaos ensues for Fox's protagonist and his family.

In the British TV and movie drama that skyrocketed her to fame, Froggatt played head housemaid Anna Bates. The critically acclaimed series deals with the everyday affairs of an aristocratic family as their future is put into question in the changing decades of the early 20th century. While some members carry on with their archaic privileges, others wish to imbibe a more modern outlook, leading to some great dialogue-driven melodrama.

The British government official, Mika Bakshash, is quite an ominous character on Last Light, with the layers of her personality unraveling towards the end.
Fans of the short-lived Punisher series will be reminded of Mika's actress, Amber Rose Revah. as the supporting character Dinah Madani. A Homeland Security Agent stationed in Afghanistan, Madani returns to New York for a case that tangles her with the vigilante Frank Castle aka the titular Punisher. The Netflix Marvel adaptation's two seasons delve deep into Castle's psyche, revealing a violent, dark, and troubled mind.
Alyth Ross - Traces (2019 - 2022)

Alyth Ross, who plays Andy and Elena's daughter, Laura Yeats, graduated from drama school in late 2021, bagging a major role in Last Light in less than a year.
Her previous included a minor appearance as a shop assistant in a season 2 episode of the British TV crime drama, Traces. The thriller series starts off with a lab assistant enrolling in a forensics course only to find that a fictional case study might have a connection to her past. She sets out to dig deeper into what seems like a murder conspiracy, along with the help of two fellow professors.

Last Light's Agent Robert Thompson is played by Jim High, who has been attached to fantasy and historical projects such as Carnival Row, Shadow & Bone, and Knightfall.
The latter stars Tom Cullen and Mark Hamill as two traveling knights from the 14th century, the last of the Templar Knights. As expected, the historical drama has its fair share of Crusades-era lore and story arcs focusing on the legendary Christian artifact, the Holy Grail. High plays a French knight called Ulric who hails from the Paris Temple of the armed collective.

Based on the Agatha Christie novel of the same name, Death On The Nile finds master detective Hercule Poirot investigating the murder of an heiress while vacationing in Egypt. Joining a star-studded ensemble helmed by Gal Gadot, Annette Bening, and Russell Brand, Alli plays a minor character on Poirot's sojourn called Marc Yves.

Set to appear in the upcoming Amazon Prime Original The Devil's Hour, Last Light's Cameron aka Rhiannon Harper-Raferty has had prior experience in bit roles in TV series and plays.
With the Chief Barnaby series of novels serving as inspiration, Midsomer Murders is an investigative thriller series on the various murders in small villages that lie in the fictional county of Midsomer. However, subverting familiar investigative clichés, the British show also adds a healthy dose of dark humor in its episodes. Harper-Raferty had a minor role in the series, credited as "Nurse" in a 2013 episode.

The actor who broke out as Jaqen H'ghar in Game Of Thrones, Tom Wlaschiha stars as Karl Bergmann, one of the chief figures involved in the global oil conspiracy of Last Light.
Wlaschiha found further fame this year as Dmitri "Enzo" Antonov, one of the fan-favorite characters of Stranger Things season 4. An iconic sci-fi series of the current streaming era, its premise needs no introduction. The most recent season found Wlaschiha essaying the role of a Russian military man who forms an unlikely alliance with David Harbour's Hopper.

Because of the global threat of Last Light's narrative, the issue of foreign refugees is also touched upon. In this context, Czech actor Jordan Haj plays a Syrian refugee in two episodes.
The actor and singer, who often collaborates with fellow Czech artist Emma Smetana, also had a brief role as a "Lead Death Dealer" in the fifth and final installment of the Underworld series. Blood Wars serves as the conclusion to the blood-stained eternal war between vampires and lycans (werewolves).
