Between them, the cast of The Last Duel has a bunch of exciting projects on the horizon. Comer is reprising her role as Villanelle, Affleck is reprising his role as Batman, and Damon will play Manhattan Project director Leslie Groves for Christopher Nolan.

Adam Driver - House Of Gucci (November 24, 2021)

Adam Driver clearly had a good time working with Ridley Scott on The Last Duel, because he’s in his next movie, too. Like The Last Duel, House of Gucci is based on historical events – but its style looks a lot slicker and groovier than the somber tone of the medieval epic.

Set to arrive on November 24, House of Gucci stars Lady Gaga as Patrizia Reggiani, an outsider who marries into the super-rich Gucci family and descends into a dark web of betrayal, revenge, and murder. Driver plays Maurizio Gucci, the husband she supposedly had killed.

Matt Damon - Thor: Love And Thunder (July 8, 2022)

The main plot of Love and Thunder will see Thor passing on his mantle to his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman. The Guardians of the Galaxy are set to appear and Valkyrie will search the cosmos for a queen to help her rule New Asgard. The movie is scheduled for release on July 8, 2022.

Jodie Comer - Killing Eve Season 4 (2022)

After playing her first major roles on the big screen this year in Free Guy and The Last Duel, Jodie Comer is returning to the small screen to reprise the role that made her an icon: charming assassin Villanelle in Killing Eve.

While no specific airdate is set, Killing Eve has been renewed for a fourth season that will premiere in 2022. With Laura Neal filling in as head writer, season 4 will be the final season that concludes the series.

Ben Affleck - Deep Water (January 14, 2022)

Ana de Armas as Paloma in No Time to Die

After co-writing and co-starring in The Last Duel, Ben Affleck will be seen alongside Ana de Armas in Deep Water, an erotic psychological thriller directed by Fatal Attraction’s Adrian Lyne based on a Patricia Highsmith novel.

Adam Driver tends to star in movies about serious subject matter like BlacKkKlansman, Marriage Story, and indeed The Last Duel. But the former Star Wars villain is returning to the realm of genre cinema to star in 65, a sci-fi thriller written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, the creators of A Quiet Place.

Produced by Sam Raimi, 65 will focus on an astronaut crash-landing on an uncharted planet and slowly learning that he’s not alone. The movie will be released on April 22, 2022.

Matt Damon - Oppenheimer (July 21, 2023)

Christopher Nolan on the set of Interstellar

Following the critical and commercial disappointment of his spy-fi thriller Tenet, Christopher Nolan is hard at work on his next project, Oppenheimer, a biopic of J. Robert Oppenheimer focused on the creation of the atom bomb.

Regular Nolan collaborator Cillian Murphy will play Oppenheimer himself, while Emily Blunt has been cast as his wife Katherine. Matt Damon, who played a minor role in Interstellar, and Robert Downey, Jr. have been cast as Leslie Groves and Lewis Strauss, respectively. Shot in IMAX and 65mm, Oppenheimer will be released on July 21, 2023.

Ben Affleck - Hypnotic (TBD)

Robert Rodriguez and Baby Yoda on The Mandalorian season 2 set

Robert Rodriguez has been in development on the sci-fi actioner Hypnotic since way back in 2018. The movie is finally coming together with Ben Affleck leading an ensemble cast that also includes Alice Braga and William Fichtner.

The plot will see a detective investigating a series of heists that are theoretically impossible while being drawn into a web of intrigue involving his missing daughter and a secret government program.

Jodie Comer - Kitbag (TBD)
