Acing the Language Class at the Naranja or Uva Academy in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is easy as it relates to communicating with other people and Pokémon in different languages. With the value of education being embedded into the game, the different subjects have real-life topics and Pokémon-based lessons to learn. Mr. Salvatore, the professor of the class, explains that people can be successful anywhere while traveling if they know the home-languages words for a compliment, "thank you", and "delicious"! However, students need to learn much more to pass the final exams.

To pass a class at the Naranja or Uva Academy in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, students must pass both the midterm and final. The midterm for the language class requires three out of five questions to be correct, while the final requires four. Visiting professors after class also benefits students because some professors, like Jacq, give rewards such as a Shiny Charm in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. In addition, after passing the exams, students are rewarded with EXP candy at the front desk in the lobby.
