Langdon is officially in the works, so who's part of the main cast and what's the premise? Based on Dan Brown's popular novel character Robert Langdon, the upcoming TV show follows a Harvard-educated symbologist who attempts to solve global mysteries. The Langdon pilot was originally produced for network TV, but will now debut on the streaming service Peacock instead.

Robert Langdon first appeared in the 2000 novel Angels & Demons, in which he investigates the Illuminati. Then, in the wildly-successful 2003 follow-up The Da Vinci Code, the character becomes immersed in a conspiracy involving The Holy Grail and Mary Magdalene. Since then, Langdon has been the focus of three more books: The Lost Symbol (2009), Inferno (2013), and Origin (2017).
