On a recent podcast, Vanderpump Rules alum Lala Kent dished out some more information about ex-fiancé Randall Emmett’s alleged cheating incident in Nashville, Tennessee, as well as his financial situation, and talks business plans with friend and Vanderpump Rules castmate Katie Maloney, who was the source that presented the Nashville photos to Lala. Despite Lala being busy dishing out Randall’s business, she’s pretty busy taking care of her own business “Give Them Lala Beauty,” and catering to her 9-month-old daughter Ocean Kent Emmett, whom she shares with Randall.
Lala, who broke up her engagement to the movie producer in October 2021, has been more open about her relationship, the breakup, and her ex’s cheating history. Although Lala’s “red flag” comment about Randall, caused some feuds with fellow Bravolebrities, the 31-year-old doesn’t care what others think about the public breakup, and she is just getting started telling her side of the story. The Vanderpump Rules cast, who are not only Lala’s on-screen friends, support #TeamLala, with a few exceptions who might still be talking to the Gotti producer, much to Lala’s dislike.
On a recent episode of the podcast Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald, the reality television star spilled the beans about how she found out Randall was cheating in Nashville. “I get a phone call and my life changed,” Lala told the podcast host. “She said, ‘Are you alone?’ And I said, ‘Yes. What’s going on?’ She said, ‘Is Randall in Nashville?’ I said, ‘Yeah, he is.’ She goes, ‘I need to show you some pictures.’ [And] the second I saw them, that’s when my intuition and my gut started speaking to me, like, ‘Something is wrong. This is not the person that I claim I know.’ I just, something felt very off. And that was just the beginning.” As Reality Blurb reported, the photos were just the icing of the cake, as the podcast conversation unfolds, Lala mentioned that other people reached out to her with information on Randall’s cheating allegations. Lala then called Randall the next day to get to the bottom of these filled-with-hope “rumors.” “When those pictures surfaced and I called him I remember that morning, he sounded pretty f-cked up and he said, ‘I didn’t even go out last night,’” Lala continued. However, Randall then changed his story to, “Those girls followed me,” regarding the women in the pictures, Katie presented to Lala.
"Then, it comes out, ‘I met them at a penthouse party.’ Then, my mind goes back to a few days earlier, where he refused to show me his room in Alabama. He would not let me see his room when we were FaceTiming. He was in the hallway with no shirt. I was like, ‘Let me see your room.’ And he would not let me see it,” the Give Them Lala author said. “And chooses, after I say, ‘This was weird, why would you let me see [your] room,’ he demands we go to therapy. ‘We need a therapy session because [you’re] freaking out for no reason.’” Lala claims, this wasn’t the first time Randall was cheating on her, as she disclosed this information to Andy Cohen on an episode of Watch What Happens Live! With Andy Cohen. Another shock that was revealed on the podcast is Randall’s financial situation, as he was unable to invest more than $25,000 into Katie’s and Ariana Madix’s future sandwich shop.
Despite Lala being slammed by Shahs of Sunset alum Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi, the Vanderpump Rules star is not going to back down. As Lala previously mentioned, this situation opened her eyes to who her true friends are and who shows support and empathy, as well as encouragement. Since the break-up with Randall was somewhat in the public eye, and although she took her time to publicly speak about it, she has all the right to share her side of the story and give encouragement to other women who are in similar situations. If there is a bouquet of red flags — run.
