It’s one of Colombia’s most successful television exports, but where is La Reina Del Flow 2 available to watch online? Over the past couple of decades, there’s been a marked rise in the popularity of the telenovela genre outside of Latin America. Spanish-language telenovelas like The House Of Flowers and Senora Acero have become compulsive viewing across the globe and plenty of others have been adapted into American shows like Ugly Betty, Jane The Virgin and Queen Of The South, an adaption of La Reina Del Sur.
One of the latest telenovelas to achieve international success is the Columbian series La Reina Del Flow. It’s a musical telenovela set in Columbia’s capital Medellin and focuses on an orphaned and aspiring reggaeton singer named Yeimy Montoya (Carolina Ramirez), who is sentenced to serve 25 years in a U.S. prison after she’s framed for smuggling drugs into the country by her crush Charly (Carlos Torres). The series follows Yeimy after she’s released from jail early and sets out to exact revenge on both Charly and the drug lords responsible for the deaths of her family members.
The first season of La Reina Del Flow proved a hit when the series made its international debut on Netflix in 2018. It went on to rank as one of Netflix’s most-watched shows globally and a second season – AKA La Reina Del Flow 2 – eventually followed. La Reina Del Flow 2 found Yeimy living a peaceful existence after achieving success as a musician and finding love with a childhood friend. However, Yeimy still faced plenty of drama and threats to her success in the sophomore season and the telenovela is simple to find online. Unfortunately, Hulu and Amazon Prime subscribers are out of luck as La Reina Del Flow 2 isn’t currently listed in either of the streaming service’s libraries.
However, Netflix has both seasons of the telenovela available to its users but – as a word of warning for those about to dive into the hit Spanish-language show – there are over 170 episodes of La Reina Del Flow. For a show with only two seasons that's a lot of content to binge, so it’s probably going to take a while to get through the whole series.
A third season of the show is unfortunately fairly unlikely as Yeimy Montoya’s arc pretty much concludes at the end of La Reina Del Flow’s second season. However, Netflix recently started airing Savage Rhythm – a fellow Columbian telenovela with a focus on reggaeton music – that’s ideal for followers of La Reina Del Flow 2.
