Kylie Jenner is getting bashed on Instagram yet again. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is being mom-shamed after posting two adorable photos of her daughter, Stormi Webster. Fans accused the mom of putting professional makeup on her soon-to-be three-year-old child.
Kylie Jenner was only 10 years old when Keeping Up With the Kardashians first started in 2007. Over the last 15 years, fans have watched as Kylie matured and evolved into her own person. At just 18, Kylie set out to create a brand for herself with the help of her momager, Kris Jenner. The two worked together to release Kylie's infamous lip kits. She went on to create an entire brand around the lip kits, Kylie Cosmetics. The brand has since ventured into skincare, eye shadow palettes, and even hand sanitizers. Kylie is constantly promoting her latest products on her Instagram page. In 2017, Kylie took a step away from the spotlight as she became pregnant with her daughter Stormi. Stormi will be turning three years old in just a few short weeks.
Kylie Jenner's fans seem to always have something to say. The Kylie Cosmetics founder posted two adorable photos of Stormi on Instagram. The comment section of the post quickly began to flood with comments bashing the mom, accusing her of putting makeup on her young daughter. Fans questioned if Stormi's tiny face was contoured in the second photo Kylie shared. While it may be common for young children to have an interest in playing around with makeup, this seemed to be a little different. One comment countered this argument, explaining that it is not normal when kids are wearing "professional makeup." Usually when young kids play with makeup, they typically "mess it up" after applying it. In this case, Stormi seemed to have makeup on that looked better than that of most adults. While most fans found it to be "soooo ridiculous" for Kylie to put makeup on Stormi, Kylie soon put an end to the speculations. She replied to one of the comments accusing her of not letting Stormi just "be a kid" by putting makeup on her with a simple "no." As Kylie put an end to the rumors, some fans explained how she and Khloé typically use filters on photos of their daughters. Not everyone had negative things to say, though. Kylie's older brother, Rob Kardashian, praised Stormi's cuteness, writing, "Sheeeesh!" It is no surprise Rob left a comment on Kylie's post, as the two have been showing each other some brotherly-sisterly love lately on Instagram.
Kylie Jenner shut down those mom-shammers real quick. It is reassuring to know Kylie did not actually put a full face of makeup on her nearly three-year-old daughter, even though it may have looked that way. There are no doubts fans will get to watch as Stormi gets older and grows a love for makeup, just like they did with her mom on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
