Kylie Jenner's fans are worried about her as they think The Kardashians star has looked sad lately. The Kar-Jenners have been very busy promoting their new Hulu series, but fans have noticed Kylie has either been absent or quietly present. The mom of two did not join the rest of the family for their appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and during the interviews that she did partake in, she sat aside pretty distantly. Fans were recently speculating about why she was so absent from The Kardashians promo, wondering if it was because she was taking care of her new baby or if she was still avoiding addressing the Astroworld Festival tragedy.
Kylie gave birth to her still-unnamed son on February 2 and later revealed on her Instagram story that she was struggling with postpartum issues. The Kylie Cosmetics founder let her followers know that if she was photographed out and about, it may look like she's recovered from birth, but everything is not always as it seems. The star, as well as her sister Kendall Jenner, have been open about Kylie's struggles with anxiety and not feeling like she's meant for the spotlight. Kylie appeared briefly in the premiere episode of The Kardashians, showing off her pregnant belly, but did not have a significant storyline.
Fans are now analyzing clips of Kylie from her few recent appearances and wondering if the star is okay. Reddit user berzio shared a clip from an interview where the reality TV star appears to be a little distant. "There's something so sad about Kylie lately," they wrote. "Her smile seems so forced." Other fans agreed, saying Kylie looks disassociated and shouldn't do the reality show if that's what's making her sad. Others suggested her boyfriend and father of her two children, Travis Scott, may be a reason for her sadness, and if this is the case, she should break up with him.
"Imagine growing up into this family dynasty and you’re basically expected to film your life to make money for your family brand," another Kylie Jenner fan replied. "She’s admitted in the past she doesn’t think she was meant to be famous and she doesn’t like filming. She has probably been pressured into doing stuff to keep the older siblings and her mum happy." Before their Hulu premiere, the Kar-Jenners appeared in an interview with Access Hollywood, where Kylie remained mostly quiet but did answer a question about motherhood. The star also took a break from social media after the tragedies at the Astroworld Festival and after giving birth but has since been more active on her profile.
Hopefully, all is well in Kylie's life, and she's simply coping with caring for her new baby. It's nice to see that Kylie has such caring fans who want to make sure she's doing okay. However, she's likely still struggling postpartum and will be back to her old self soon. If The Kardashians star does need to take a step back from the spotlight, her fans will surely understand.
