Over the past few months, Shanna Moakler hasn't shied away from sharing how opposed she is to her ex Travis Barker dating Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum Kourtney Kardashian. Since the duo went public around the star of the year, Shanna has dropped not-so-subtle hints that she doesn't support her ex-husband dating a Kardashian. Between taking jabs on social media and talking negatively about them in the press, Shanna has made it clear that she is not a Kardashian fan. However, with her three children embracing their future stepmom, Shanna has started to back away from bad-mouthing Kravis in public.
After seeing Kourtney and Travis making references to the Blink-182 drummer's favorite movie True Romance, Shanna couldn't hold back from blasting the new couple on social media. The former Playboy model let her followers know that Travis was only replicating aspects of his past relationship with her. When speaking with the press about it, Shanna claimed Travis and Kourtney were taking part in "weird" behavior by doing things he had already done while dating Shanna. Travis and Shanna were married for four years and welcomed two children together, Landon and Alabama, before divorcing in 2008. They've maintained a co-parenting relationship, and Travis has continued his stepfather role to Shanna's eldest daughter Atiana De La Hoya. During their time together, Shanna and Travis also made references that included dancing to the song from True Romance at their wedding and naming their daughter after the film's female lead.
However, Shanna's relationship with her two teenage kids has become more estranged over the last year. While Landon and Alabama have both made public claims against their mother's presence in their lives, Shanna has publicly accused Travis of "brainwashing" the two teenagers and turning them against her. Back in May, Alabama shared a screenshot of an alleged DM from Shanna that accused Travis of cheating on her with Kourtney's sister Kim Kardashian. “I divorced Travis because I caught him having an affair with Kim! Now he’s in love with her sister. It’s all gross. I’m not the bad guy,” Shanna wrote. However, sources for Kim have denied those claims, noting that she was always friends with Travis but nothing more.
Once things began to heat up between Kourtney and Travis, Shanna spoke out once again and accused the Kardashian clan of ruining her own family. "My family is broken because of this family and now my kids and I are alienated from each other because of another sister in the family, so yay for me," the former Miss USA sarcastically told TMZ before thanking the famous family "for destroying my family twice." She went on to accuse Travis of covering up a tattoo he had previously gotten for her while Kourtney "lovingly looked on." In response, Shanna posted a video getting one of her tattoos for Travis covered up. She followed it up by planning an auction where she was set to sell her old wedding rings. Alas, she later changed her mind. Shanna also threw shade at the couple saying that Travis was copying things he did with her first.
Around the time Travis proposed to Kourtney, Shanna was seen posting photos wearing her old wedding ring. But once Travis was officially engaged, Shanna ended her subtle jabs. Reconciling with her on-and-again-off-again boyfriend Matthew Rondeau might've helped Shanna keep her mind off of her shaky relationship with her kids and Travis reliving his favorite movie with Kourtney. When she finally did speak on their engagement, Shanna wished them well and said that she hopes "they get good ratings." That minor diss was just the latest of a long line of shade Shanna has thrown at her ex-husband at the Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum.
