Just days after their engagement, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker debuted their 2021 Halloween costumes, and they are pretty perfect. Travis and Kourtney have been friends for years, only to start seriously dating, at least publicly, in February 2021. The two have been seemingly inseparable, with paparazzi catching them making out while on vacation in Europe, heading out for date nights around Los Angeles, and making appearances together at events such as the MTV VMAs. In late October 2021, the couple made it official, with Travis popping the question amid a ring of roses and candles on a California beach, subsequently breaking the internet.
Fans have been fascinated with the pairing, as Kourtney started donning a more "rock and roll" look, think black manicures and leather jumpsuits, to match her new beau's rocker persona. When they shared a pic from backstage at the VMAs alongside a sultry Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, their destiny as pop culture's new "It Couple" was all but sealed. With these new Halloween costumes, the couple seems to be smirking at fans (and haters) who can't get enough of this seemingly odd couple.
On Oct. 22, Kourtney posted a series of photos of her and Travis dressed up as punk icons Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen. Vicious was a member of the Sex Pistols, and Spungen was a groupie who became his girlfriend. The two had a tumultuous relationship, and his band members despised her so much that they banned her from going on tour with them. The relationship ended with Sid allegedly fatally shooting Nancy at the Chelsea Hotel in Manhattan, only to die himself due to an overdose while awaiting trial.
While Kourtney and Travis' fates are likely not as doomed as Sid and Nancy's given their level of wealth and fame (and the fact that they're both not very punk rock at all at the end of the day), the costume was still apt, as were the iconic poses they chose in homage to punk's first couple.
The Kardashians famously go hard for Halloween, so this is likely just one of many costumes that the couple will debut as they make their party rounds over this weekend and the next. In the past, Kourtney has dressed up as Ariana Grande, Bonnie Parker, and a rockabilly cowgirl, among many, many other costumes. But this year, it's nice to see the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star have someone to enjoy the holiday with, even if it is just a tad darker than what she usually does to celebrate the holiday.
