It's been almost five years since Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom finalized their divorce, but the NBA champion recently hinted at the love he still feels for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star. As Khloe lives happily in love with Tristan Thompson, it appears Lamar's regrets have come a little too late.
Lamar Odom got married to KWUTK star Khloe Kardashian in 2009, and the couple split in 2013. They decided to elope just one month after meeting each other. During their time together they appeared inseparable and even snagged their own spin-off show Khloe & Lamar. But, it was Lamar's issues with cheating and substance abuse that led to their breakup. With their divorce not being finalized until 2016, Khloe was by Lamar's side when he went into a coma after suffering a near-fatal drug overdose at a Las Vegas brothel in 2015. Since then, they have remained amicable while going their separate ways. Khloe began dating NBA player Tristan Thompson in 2017 and they welcomed their daughter True the following year. Lamar most recently ended his year-long engagement with Sabrina Parr.
Now that Lamar is single, he recently reflected on his time with Khloe and expressed the regret he still harbors for cheating on his ex-wife. It was during his recent interview on The Morning Hustle radio show where he was asked if he could relive one year which one would it be. Rather than mentioning his near-fatal accident, he took it back further and said the year he got married to the Good American founder. "I would probably say it was the first time I decided to cheat on Khloe," Lamar revealed. I would rewind that back and take those things back and never let that happen." His reveal of cheating on Khloe during their first year of marriage despite her choosing to stay with him four additional years shows her level of patience.
Fans of Khloe continue to share their suspicion of her rekindled romance with Tristan. He also cheated on Khloe and more publicly after he was caught kissing Kylie Jenner's former BFF Jordyn Woods. The scandal was an embarrassing one for Khloe to deal with as fans mocked the reality star for getting cheated on with someone that was so close to home. The kiss came after Tristan had already been caught being unfaithful during Khloe's pregnancy. However, after more than a year of being separated, Khloe decided to take Tristan back after he worked hard to regain her trust. In the recent season finale trailer, Khloe and Tristan were seen planning for another baby.
The pair seem to be in a happy place as the Boston Celtics player continues out the NBA season while also making Khloe and their daughter a priority. It's clear that Lamar's regrets about cheating on Khloe have come years too late. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has moved on, just like he mentioned in the interview. Still, it's nice to see him still speak highly of his ex-wife.
