Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kylie Jenner is feeling "grateful" and "relieved" after publicly announcing her second pregnancy. Weeks after rumors began circulating around the Internet, the 24-year-old beauty mogul confirmed the news with a touching video shared to social media. The intimate glimpse into the early stages of her pregnancy began with Kylie holding a pregnancy test and asking her daughter, Stormi Webster, if she's ready to go see the doctor. As the video continued, followers got to see the moment Stormi broke the news to momager Kris Jenner, who proclaimed that it was "one of the happiest days of my life."
In February 2018, Kylie and Travis welcomed their first child together and seem to be much less private this time around. Though the duo initially split in 2019 after dating for two years, they've managed to co-parent extremely well, which later reignited their love for one another. By June 2021, Kylie and Travis were no longer hiding their feelings for each other in public.
Now that the news is confirmed, a source close to Kylie told E! News that "she wanted to keep it to herself and enjoy it for as long as she could," but she's now feeling "relieved" and "excited" to virtually celebrate with her fans. Though Kylie's announcement was heartwarming, it wasn't in line with her grand plan. The young reality star originally wanted to surprise the world by showing up to the Met Gala with her baby bump on display. The source didn't go into detail as to why it didn't work out but noted that it didn't matter because Kylie just wanted to ensure that she could tell her fans when she was comfortable and ready. "She's happy with the way it all turned out," they said. "She is very happy and thrilled to finally share such exciting news with all of her fans."
Talking to another source, Kylie apparently felt like she had to share the news sooner rather than later because her bump was popping faster than her first pregnancy. And now that Kylie no longer has anything to hide, she's excited to appear at events and photograph with her bump. "Kylie doesn't plan to be in complete hiding for this pregnancy," they said. "She of course wants privacy and is protective over her family, but you'll be seeing her out and at events now that the news is out." Additionally, the source noted that Kylie is "less anxious" this time around because she not only knows what to expect, but she is also more than ready to be a family of four. "Kylie is so excited and feels grateful they were able to conceive again," they said. "They want a big family together and love being parents. Kylie [is so] happy to have Travis by her side during everything."
