Sources for Kris Jenner claim the Keeping Up With the Kardashians family matriarch wasn't completely on board with Kylie Jenner getting pregnant for a second time by Travis Scott. The momager reportedly has reservations about the status of Kylie and Travis' seemingly open relationship and has an issue with her youngest child getting pregnant again. With Kylie and Travis being in a relationship without any titles, Kris is worried her daughter might be starting a family with a man that isn't all in. Despite how excited Kylie and Travis are about welcoming another child together, Kris would rather them identify the exact status of their romance.
Kylie and Travis have a strong connection and enjoy each other's company, but they aren't exactly boyfriend and girlfriend. Travis and Kylie have maintained a solid co-parenting relationship since their 2019 split that often has them still looking very much like a couple. Back in May, Kylie shut down rumors claiming she was in an open relationship with the "SICKO MODE" rapper. The following month, Kylie and Travis hit the red carpet as a family with their daughter Stormi Webster. During his speech, Travis gave a special shoutout to Stormi and his "wifey" Kylie. The move seemingly confirmed their reconciliation despite neither of them putting an exact title on their relationship status.
Now, amid confirmations of Kylie's second pregnancy, it's said that her mom wasn't completely supportive when she first found out her youngest child was expecting again. “It took Kris a moment to get on board with this second baby,” a source told HollywoodLife. “She wants to see Kylie in a relationship with Travis and not just be co-parents or friends with benefits.” It looks like Kris has caught wind of all the reports surrounding Kylie and Travis' relationship status, and isn't happy that her 22-year-old daughter is continuing to expand a family with someone who doesn't want to fully commit.
It appears as though Kris might be worried that Kylie may have stronger feelings for Travis than he shares for her. While Kylie remains the only woman Travis is seen out with publicly, the rapper still leaves many wondering why he hasn't decided to officially make Kylie his girlfriend again. This is the exact reason why Kris is worried about Kylie. “She doesn’t want to see her daughter get hurt,” the source continued. “She would like to see Kylie and Travis be together but she knows it is not up to her. All she wants for Kylie is to be happy and she’s protecting her.” It's no secret how much the KarJenners value family, regardless of if they're dating the other parent or not.
All of Kris' children except for Kendall Jenner are currently co-parenting kids with an ex that they're no longer with. It's something Kris instilled within her kids to put the happiness of their children first. "It’s always been important to Kris that the girls remain on good terms with the father of their children," HollywoodLife reports. Despite Travis and Kylie not having any titles, they appear to have a solid bond that is standing the test of time. But the Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch seemingly wants to see more from Travis.
