Fans of Keeping Up With The Kardashians witnessed a horrifying display when sisters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian had a fight that escalated into a physical brawl. While no one was seriously injured, production had to be shut down for the day and emotional scars were left behind, especially in the eyes of mother Kris Jenner (literally), who was reduced to tears after seeing it play out.

On the season 18 premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiered with a bang as Kim and Kourtney got in an argument that turned into a phyiscal fight. The sisters, sans Kylie, were discussing work ethic when Kim accused Kendall and Kourntney of not having the greatest work ethic and are the least reliable.

Kim appeared on The Tonight Show:Home Edition on Monday to talk about all the shocking things going on in the lives of the Kardashians. The biggest hot topic covered in the interview was that intense fight. After ongoing discussions of Kourtney's seeming lack of commitment to the show and a lot of "built-up resentment," Kim made a comment targeting Kourtney. This resulted in Kourtney throwing a water bottle directly at her head and it escalated from there - with a bloody scratch on Kim's arm and a violent slap to Kourtney's face. It's not her "proudest moment," the model and mother told Jimmy Fallon. Check out the clip of her speaking about the fight below:

When Kris saw the clip, she was disappointed to say the least. According to Kim, the heartbroken mother cried after viewing the footage. According to Kim, Kris asked her daughters, "Who are you guys, What is going on?" The family still hasn't fully recovered from the event, Kim implied, saying that everyone was "shook" for a while and that they had to reevaluate what their show was. The goal was to make sure Keeping Up with the Kardashians was still comfortable and safe for both the production team and the viewers. There's never been a fight quite like that in the show's 18 season history and Kim stated that she never resorts to violence, but when Kourtney scratched her and she started bleeding, she decided to retaliate.

While Kris seems to be taking it the hardest, seeing footage of her daughters physically brawl, Kim and Kourtney are apparently fine now, but Kourtney is taking some time off. Kourtney has, for some time now, lacked an interest in continuing to film Keeping Up with the Kardashians. This became apparent to Kim, especially when Kourtney would would apparently show up to film completely uninterested and in a bad mood. It's likely that tensions have risen over quite some time over this and fans of Keeping Up with the Kardashians witnessed the breaking point.

Kourtney's break from the show came at a time where the quarantine drove the family to separate anyway. While staying isolated in their separate homes, production is still apparently underway, Kim confirmed with Fallon. Armed with only iPhones and tripods, the family will produce the finale of the show entirely on their own. After shooting all their social distancing activities, they will send in their footage to be edited together into a full episode.
