The reality star and rockstar drummer, who got engaged this past October, are going all out with their nuptials. The two are expected to wed in California in front of hundreds of loved ones sometime in 2022, but their guest list isn't the only thing that will stand out.
It’s been quite the year for Kourtney and Travis since they confirmed their relationship in early 2021. Fans on social media have been obsessed over the chemistry they have—and their PDA. The oldest Kardashian-Jenner sibling, Kourtney was with Scott Disick for a decade and had three children with him: Mason, Penelope, and Reign. Despite their growing family, Kourtney and Scott never married, finally splitting for good in 2015. As the last one to tie the knot, Kortney has given several reasons why she’s remained a Ms. over the years, such as her parents and sibling’s divorces and simply not feeling ready for the commitment.
After finding the right one to say "yes" to, Kourtney is determined to make their wedding day something that family, friends, and fans will never forget. A source close to OK! revealed that the couple has hired a writer and videographer to "re-create all the magical moments of their time together." Looking to achieve an ultimate mix of romance and entertainment, the source also says that their plan is to "stream their love story" before and after the ceremony for invitees. The wedding of Kourtney and Travis has yet to be announced, but the insider claims that Travis has already started an ultimate speech highlighting why he "worships" his soon-to-be wife.
Posing in a series of photos for Instagram, Kourtney stunned in a sparkled silver ensemble on New Year's Eve. Clearly referencing her upcoming wedding with the caption "2022 the best is yet to come", Kourtney's last video (Warning: flashing lights) features the star throwing an equally-sparkly dice in the air; the camera not-so-subtly highlights the giant diamond ring on her third finger. Kourtney and Travis, who are known for publicly declaring their love for one another, are paying no mind to what others think. Feeling confident in their decision to have a grandiose wedding, OK!'s insider says that when it comes to people's opinions, they simply "don't care" what they are.
The Kardashian-Barker wedding will not be the first dramatic event for this famous family, as Kim's short-lived nuptials with Kris Humphries aired on season 6 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Although some are turned off by the amount of PDA these two have, others respect the genuine red-hot feelings they have towards one another. KUWTK may be done, but with the recent announcement of a spin-off show, viewers may get to see more of this wedding than they thought.
