Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans are all atwitter over a rumor that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are pregnant. The couple, who got engaged earlier this year, supposedly want to have baby together. Insiders are sure that a pregnancy will happen and that it's just a matter of time. The mom of three, who famously froze her eggs when she was 39, said that she was "bullied" into it by family and friends. Though initially resistant to the process, Kourtney finally gave in, saying, “I really got talked into it. I was like, ‘Okay, whatever, I’ll do it one time since everyone else is doing it. I might as well.'”
Kourtney has three young children with ex Scott Disick, and Travis has two teenagers with ex Shanna Moakler. He also has a close relationship with Shannon's oldest daughter, Atiana, whose father is boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya. Before her romance with Travis, Kourtney was on the fence about having any more children. After going in for one round of egg retrieval, her doctor urged her to do a second one in order to ensure a robust batch, but she declined. Despite her initial ambivalence about the procedure, she said that she experienced peace of mind after going through the process.
According to Us Weekly, the rumor of a Kourtney/Travis pregnancy may be true based on Barstool entertainment reporter Jordyn Woodruff's analysis of Kourtney's recent Instagram Stories. The reality star started the gossip herself by encouraging her fans to take part in "dry January" accompanied by a photo of herself drinking water from a champagne glass. She continued to fan the flames with numerous shots of a crystal-encrusted avocado, a symbol which has historically been used by the family to announce a pregnancy. Finally, she posted a close-up of her hands on her stomach and followed it up with a fun fact--that a baby is the size of an avocado at 16 weeks.
Prior to becoming engaged to Travis, Kourtney spoke about the possibility of getting pregnant again, saying, “I’m someone who’s like, ‘What’s God’s plan? Am I supposed to get pregnant on my own at 41?'” Travis' recent Instagram post raised suspicions as well. It had sharp-eyed fans noticing the inclusion of a baby bottle in one of his Stories. This resulted in lots of speculation in the comments section. Us Weekly also reported that someone close to the family said, "She and Travis want to bring their own child into the picture, and if she can’t conceive, they’ll look at other alternatives.”
Certainly, those "alternatives" could include the use of Kourtney's frozen eggs. Kourtney and Travis haven't made an official announcement one way or the other, but the clues as broken down by the blogger seem fairly convincing. The eldest Keeping Up With The Kardashians sister isn't the only family member who has pregnancy rumors swirling about. Fans are also wondering if sister Kylie, who recently confirmed a second pregnancy with rapper Travis Scott, has already secretly given birth. Fans, always excited about welcoming new members of this growing family, anxiously await news of both of these rumors.
