Kim has continued to publicly date Pete after filing to become legally single and dropping 'West' from her last name. Kanye has been busy traveling and making appearances while seemingly trying to keep his mind off his dissolving marriage. As Kim and Kanye move further apart, she's building an even stronger bond with Pete.
There were clues that Pete spent the Christmas holiday in Los Angeles with Kim and her family. The Saturday Night Live star was spotted driving Kim's Rolls Royce around in Beverly Hills and fans even speculated if his mom, Amy Davidson, was spotted in the background of a Christmas post shared by Khloe Kardashian. However, Kim isn't trying to publicize her budding romance. Sources say that the SKIMS founder only prefers to be seen with Pete in group settings to avoid hurting Kanye's feelings. In general, Kim is still being mindful of her ex-husband's mental health as they continue on with their divorce proceedings. Kanye tried adamantly to win Kim back in recent weeks, to no avail.
As Kim continues to date Pete, it looks like their feelings for each other are only getting stronger. "Kim and Pete are getting serious. Things have definitely escalated quickly but in a healthy, fun way," a source told Us Weekly. "Right now, they are just enjoying their time together and seeing where things go." With Kim going through a publicized divorce, the mother of four "doesn't want to rush into anything too serious" too soon with Pete. But, the reality star is enjoying the "early stages" of their developing courtship. Kim has been spending more time in New York City with the comedian, whereas Pete has been photographed in Los Angeles during his time off from SNL.
With Kim taking her time before deciding to date someone else after Kanye, it looks like she was ready for love when she sparked a flame with Pete. Insiders say the two stars are completely "smitten" with each other and are very affectionate when they're together. It's also said that the West kids "adore" Pete and don't mind when he comes around. Alas, Kanye plans to not be too far away from his kids. Recently, he purchased a new property directly across the street from Kim and their children. The rapper and fashion mogul will possibly stay at the home to make co-parenting with Kim a lot easier.

Kim has clearly moved on and the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star isn't looking back. It looks like Kanye is trying to do the same.
