With Kim Kardashian studying to become a lawyer, Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans think that she's the perfect person to help Britney Spears with her conservatorship legal procedures. The pop star has been locked in a messy legal battle against the conservatorship she has with her father Jamie Spears and other family members. Most recently, the singer decided to retire from music after losing the case against her dad. However, some onlookers believe Kim can offer assistance as an aspiring attorney.

Kim Kardashian has been on the celebrity scene for over the last decade, and she used to be friends with Britney. During her days working as Paris Hilton's assistant, the KUWTK star rubbed shoulders with a number of Paris's famous friends, including the pop princess herself. A lot has changed since then with Kim becoming an international superstar and surpassing her former friend circle. Alas, leave it up to her fans to use the past in an effort to get a response from the SKIMS founder. While many celebrities have spoken out in support of the #FreeBritney movement, Kim has been noticeably silent.

Britney Spears' fans have been flooding Kim Kardashian's comments in recent weeks urging her to show some support to Britney. Paris, Miley Cyrus, and even Justin Timberlake have expressed their support for Britney, but Kim has (so far) remained quiet on the matter. Late last month, Britney appeared in court and spoke on her conservatorship for the first time. As Kim's followers and Britney supporters flood Kim with #FreeBritney comments, sources say Kim reached out to Britney in private to offer her legal advice. “She reached out to Britney as soon as she read her statement," an insider told Closer. "Kim knows she’s going through hell and that her situation is like a jail sentence." In fact, during her court appearance, Britney begged to get her "life back" and said her conservatorship was "abusive."

It turns out that this news struck a nerve with Kim. "She’s let her know she’d do whatever she could to help her win her battle," the source explained before noting how Kim could benefit the coverage of the case. "Having such a high-profile name attached to the legal team would give Britney’s case even more publicity," they said. It's said that Britney "has given the green light to let Kim help in whatever capacity she can and asked her to email her lawyer, Samuel Ingham." The chart-topping singer is reportedly appreciative of Kim's support. While the source reports aren't confirmed, it wouldn't be a surprise if Kim has opted to remain silent about the #FreeBritney movement because of the conflict of interest that it could cause if she is helping Britney out legally.

Kim has been an outspoken advocate for prison reform and social justice. She's certainly aware of the ongoing movement for Britney. With that said, Kim just might be taking matters into her own hands and not making a spectacle on social media. Doing the work doesn't always require social media posts. However, as the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star reels about her current partnership with Team USA ahead of the Tokyo Olympics, the comment floods can keep her reminded about helping out her old friend Britney.
