Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson shared their co-parenting journey on the final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but now that the finale has aired, fans of the show are not very impressed with their lackluster confessionals. With all the drama the couple is known to go through behind the scenes, it looks like viewers were expecting more from the couple in the truth department. Their interview segments did not come off as genuine and fans are not buying that their relationship is going well.
Many were surprised to hear Khloe share her plans for welcoming another child with Tristan after their recent reconciliation. The couple had just confirmed their rekindled romance last season after spending more than a year apart due to Tristan's past cheating scandal. Fans will remember that shortly before True Thompson's first birthday, Tristan was caught kissing Kylie Jenner's former BFF Jordyn Woods at a party. As a result, Kylie cut ties with Jordyn and Khloe broke up with the NBA player. But he was able to get back into Khloe's good graces over the quarantine and the couple reunited sometime last year.
With all that was knowingly going on between the couple, fans were expecting the Good American founder to have more honest exchanges with the Boston Celtics player on the show. But following the season finale, one viewer took to Reddit to blast Khloe for shoving "Tristan down our throats." According to the fan, viewers aren't that familiar with Tristan on the show and only know about him through his cheating scandals in the press. "The guy we barely know and the only thing we know is that he's a ruthless cheater who had the audacity to hit on and make a move on their family friend," the fan said.
Others agreed that seeing Tristan being portrayed as an innocent loving father on the show pushed them away. "I tried to watch this final season and actually stopped because of this," another person said. "I don’t need to hear from slimy, cheating Tristan. No amount of editing will make me believe he’s anything more than a snake. And I’ve lost all respect for Khloe at this point." Another fan noted the timeline from when Khloe and Tristan started dating and when he made his first appearance on the show.
While it's likely that his busy NBA schedule prevented him from filming, his presence and their storyline didn't come off as genuine in the final season. It seems like the show was trying really hard to make it look like Tristan has changed. Maybe he has but it came off as dishonest and a bit awkward during their interview segments. Fans are buying that the two have worked things out and everything is so great they are even willing to grow their family together. It just didn't seem believable while watching the final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
