Tristian Thompson "freaked out" when Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian wanted to trim their daughter True's hair. Khloe did not end up cutting her hair to show Tristan that she trusts his parenting instincts.
Khloe and Tristian began their back-and-forth relationship towards the end of 2016. After a year of dating, the pair announced they were expecting their first child together. A few short months after the pregnancy announcement, news broke that Tristan was caught cheating on Khloe with multiple women while she was pregnant. The couple broke up for a short time but got back together in hopes of mending their relationship. The following year, Tristian was once again caught cheating, but this time it was with their former close family friend, Jordyn Woods. Khloe ended the relationship once again, but the two seemed to reconcile for a second time after quarantining together during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
In an interview with Kelly Clarkson, 36-year-old Khloe Kardashian opened up about developing trust in her co-parenting relationship with Tristan Thompson, Us Weekly reports. “Tristan is so great and really trusts me as a mom and knows I’m always gonna do the right thing for [our daughter], True, so he really doesn’t tell me ‘no’ a lot of the times,” Khloe revealed to the talk show host on Tuesday. “I’m grateful for that. I think as moms, we sort of feel like we have the right and know what we’re doing with our kids.” Khloe recalled a recent disagreement the couple had about cutting True's hair for the first time. The NBA player was steadfast on not wanting Khloe to cut their daughter's hair just yet, but Khloe really wanted to give True's hair a gentle trimming. Nonetheless, she recalled: “I just wanted to cut some of her baby hairs. … He freaked out. He called my brother, [Rob Kardashian], for my brother to talk me out of it. He called my mom [Kris Jenner]. I was like, ‘Oh, my God.’” Khloe trusts Tristian and did not want to do something he was adamantly against.
Seems like Khloe and Tristian have great communication with each other, which is an important factor when it comes to raising their daughter. In a recent teaser for the final season of KUWTK, Khloe confesses to Tristian that she is ready for baby number two. The mother of one explained that she needs to line up with his schedule so she can embryos with her already frozen eggs. Khloe is ready for a second child and knows it may take a while for this whole process to start, as she wants to be prepared. The reality star never imagined only have one child and seeing True all by herself in quarantine was difficult.
Now that Tristian is back in Khloe's good graces, it seems at though she can trust him once again. Now that Khloe is thinking about having another child with him, the pair seem to be back on track in their relationship. We will find out once the final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians airs in 2021.
