Keeping Up with the Kardashians is now into its eighteenth season, here's a look at the Kardashian-Jenners in season 1 versus today. The show has been running for over 10 years, so it's inevitable that the family would have transformed somewhat. Kylie and Kendall Jenner were just 10 and 12 years old as of season 1, so it's safe to say they would have changed a great deal.
As reality TV shows go, Keeping Up with the Kardashians has done incredibly well to still be running in 2020. The E! Entertainment show first started in 2007. Over the past 13 years, every member of the Kardashian-Jenner family has changed, not only personality-wise, but in appearance, too. Many surgery rumors have surrounded the family members over the years. Some admit to a nip and tuck, while others are adamant it's all-natural.
Here's how each Kardashian has changed since when KUWTK launched in 2007.
Kris Jenner: KUWTK s1 vs now
First up, here's the woman responsible for bringing KUWTK to our screens. Without Kris Jenner, there wouldn't be any Kardashian-Jenners. When Keeping Up with the Kardashians first started, Kris was 52 years old during season 1, not that she looked it. Over the course of KUWTK, Kris has maintained her youthful appearance. She's been pretty open concerning the procedures she has had done. As reported by E! Online, Kris said, "I get a lot of people saying I had my nose done, never had my nose done". But, she did have a facelift in the lead-up to Kim's wedding to Kris Humphries during season 6. Kris also spoke on the show about having a breast augmentation, once after she had children and another later in life. Season 1 sees Kris married to Bruce Jenner, but she's now in a long-term relationship with Corey Gamble.
Caitlyn Jenner: KUWTK s1 vs now
Back in the early days of KUWTK, viewers could expect to see Caitlyn, who was then Bruce, doing carpool, taking the dogs to the vet, or attending a "Bruce on the Loose" party thrown by her kids. Caitlyn's transition was briefly documented on KUWTK. She came out as a trans woman in 2015. Anyone who watched the more recent episodes where Cait releases a tell-all book will know, it hasn't always been plain sailing for her and the rest of the family.
Kim Kardashian: KUWTK s1 vs now
Kim Kardashian was 27 years old during season 1. In 2020 she's turning she's 40; although fans may say she doesn't look her age. Her face does seem to have changed over time but Kim denies any surgery rumors, besides botox. Fans could put her great looks down to makeup and botox alone, but the rumors don't stop there. Body-wise, Kim has also received some flack. Viewers often suggest that Kim has had cosmetic procedures to enhance her curves. She denies those rumors, too. Kim even went as far as getting an X-Ray of her derrieré done during KUWTK filming to prove critics wrong. Kim's ex, Reggie Bush, features in KUWTK season 1. That relationship didn't last and she's now married to Kanye West. Together they have four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
Khloe Kardashian: KUWTK s1 vs now
Khloe Kardashian looks very different today than she did during KUWTK season 1. The mom-of-one was just 23 years old when the show first began, whereas today she's 36. Like her sister, Kim, we can assume that Khloe has opted for botox rather than undergoing any major cosmetic surgeries. Khloe's look has totally changed over the years; with her most drastic transformation taking place following her divorce from Lamar Odom. Khloe graced the cover of Complex magazine and kicked off a whole new 'gym-bunny' chapter of life. Today, she often documents her workouts on Instagram and shows of her incredible physique. Khloe is currently co-parenting daughter True with basketball player Tristan Thompson.
Kylie Jenner: KUWTK s1 vs now
Kylie Jenner was just 10 years old when she made her reality TV debut. Her looks have changed drastically over the years but that's often to be expected; she's aged from 10 to 23 years old. The cosmetics mogul has said that she gets regular lip filler but, speaking to E! Online, Kylie denied getting any plastic surgery on her body, "I haven't gotten breast implants! Everyone is obsessed with that. Truth is, as I've gotten older, I've gained 15 pounds and my body has changed". Kylie was just a child in the early seasons of KUWTK. She can be seen terrorizing her older half-brother Brody and convincing her mom to buy a puppy in seasons 1 and 2. Today Kylie's very mature. She runs a business of her own and is a mother herself.
Kourtney Kardashian: KUWTK s1 vs now
While Kylie may have changed a great deal over the years, Kourtney pretty much looks the same as she did in season 1. The main change seen with Kourtney is her overall style. And as with all the siblings, their fashion sense has totally changed since 2007. In 2020, the Kardashian's favorite dark eyeliner is long gone. Big hair, bright clothes, and extremely slow-talking voices have also been binned. The season 18 aesthetic is much more nude, natural, and casual-chic. One constant of Kourtney's since day one is her desire to be a great mom. In 2020, the mom-of-three took more of a back seat when filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians and she features a lot less in season 18.
Kendall Jenner: KUWTK s1 vs now
Kendall Jenner has obviously grown up from being a 12-year-old during season 1 to the 25-year-old model that she is today. During the early KUWTK seasons, Kendall can be seen practicing catwalk and heading out to New York with her sister, Kim. At the time she didn't seem to take it too seriously but lo and behold, she's now a world-recognized catwalk model. Kendall has walked the runway for huge names in the fashion world including Victoria's Secret and Marc Jacobs. It's unlikely that Kendall has had any cosmetic procedures as she often opts for a very natural look, given that she's a high fashion model.
Rob Kardashian: KUWTK s1 vs now
Keeping Up with the Kardashians fans who have watched the early seasons of the show will likely be reminded that Kris Jenner has six children; rather than the five viewers usually see. Rob Kardashian appears in KUWTK in the early days, however, it looks as though the spotlight wasn't for him. During season 6, it's clear to see that he and Kim often fought. Kim called Rob a "loser" during a family trip to Bora Bora because of his lack of direction in life. Things went from bad to worse for Rob when he got into a relationship with model Blac Chyna. Together they share a daughter, Dream, however, as season 13 showed, his and Chyna's relationship was toxic. According to a 2020 report from People, "Rob and Chyna are getting along, but are not officially back together".
Scott Disick: KUWTK s1 vs now
Though he's technically not a Kardashian or a Jenner, Scott Disick has been on KUWTK since the very beginning. The now-37-year-old was just 24 during season 1. However, of all the cast members, Scott's potentially changed the least. Notoriously known as a party boy, Scott and Kourtney's on-off relationship played out over the last 13 years on the show. His relationships with other women, including Sofia Richie, also featured on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Season 1 shows Kris Jenner pretty concerned over her daughter going out with the young New Yorker. But, it's safe to say that Scott is well and truly a part of the family nowadays. For all fans know, Scott and Kourtney may even get back together in the future.
