Kanye West has purchased a new property that is located right across the street from the home of Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian. Despite Kim filing to become legally single and dropping West from her legal last name, Kanye has chosen to move closer to his ex-wife and their kids. Even if Kim is falling for someone else, her ex-husband doesn't plan on being too far away. Now, details of Kanye's new "unremarkable" property have been revealed.
Following Kanye's last public plea to get Kim's attention, she responded the next day by filing to become single. It was at his Larry Hoover benefit concert when Kanye changed the lyrics of his song "Runaway" to beg Kim to "run back" to him. But instead of withdrawing her divorce petition, Kim filed to become legally single and return to using her maiden name the day after Kanye's concert. Sources say Kim was "embarrassed" by Kanye's latest public plea and feels freer following the latest filing. With that said, Kanye isn't letting Kim's legal filing push him away.
Kanye reportedly purchased a home directly across from Kim's Hidden Hills home. The rapper and fashion mogul shelled out $4.5 million for the "relatively modest" home described in a report by The Dirt. The new property lies directly across from the home Kanye used to share with Kim. His purchase comes after Kim paid $23 million to buy Kanye out of the Calabasas' home. The Yeezy founder's new home has a vintage build dating back to 1955. Kanye's home is credited for being "architecturally unremarkable" with four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a guest studio with another room, and a separate bathroom attached to the garage.
The new home also has a horse stable which is great for his eldest daughter, North, who has her own horse. Kanye was reportedly set on moving into the property since he paid $421,000 over the asking price for the modest home. It looks like Kanye has intentions of living close by his ex-wife and kids no matter what. It comes as Kim continues to publicly date comedian Pete Davidson. Kim has been spotted spending time with Pete in New York City. There were also clues that Pete might've spent the Christmas weekend with Kim and her family. It's also said that the West kids reportedly "adore" Pete and that Kris Jenner is "obsessed" with the comedian.
With Kanye parting ways with model Vinetria, he's back to being single. But after a series of public pleas to win back Kim, Kanye needs to accept the fact that Kim really wants to end their marriage. In turn, the reality star is also filming her new show for Hulu. After ending Keeping Up With The Kardashians devastated over her third failed marriage, Kim is stepping into a new era dating a much younger man for the first time. Nonetheless, Kanye won't be too far away regardless of who Kim brings over to the house.
