Kanye West appears to be following in the footsteps of Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian by launching his own lifestyle brand. After achieving billionaire status through the success of his fashion empire, Kanye is setting his sights on starting a new business endeavor. Amid the release of his 10th studio album Donda, Kanye has filed paperwork to possibly add a home goods line to his business portfolio. His filing comes one year after Kim made moves to expand her KKW imprint to include a houseware line.

The Yeezy founder has been enjoying the response to his 10th no. 1 album. Kanye's highly-anticipated release followed three massive listening party events thrown for his fans. The events introduced Kanye's newest persona, which includes face coverings, new Yeezy threads, and performance art. His ex-wife, Kim, also joined him on stage at his third event and wore a white wedding gown. The divorcing couple appeared to reenact their wedding day, sending fans into a frenzy with reconciliation rumors. As insiders continue to fuel rumors of the two possibly getting back together, Kanye is expanding his business empire.

In late August, Kanye filed paperwork with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to launch a lifestyle brand, E! News reports. The new company will sell blankets, shower curtains, pillowcases, towels, placemats, textile wall hangings, and a children's homeware line. Kanye is expected to continue to use the Yeezy name for these new lifestyle items. The trademark comes a year after sources revealed Kim's plan to launch KKW Home, a home goods line extension from her KKW Beauty brand. Alas, Kim has yet to make any announcements about her home goods line, as the KKW Beauty imprint continues to undergo its latest rebranding. It's said that Kanye has had input in regards to KKW Beauty's rebrand initiative.

Kim wasn't shy about showing the support she still has for Kanye and vice versa. All things considered, it seems like the former couple has been on more peaceful terms in the last month ahead of the release of Donda. In fact, Kim and Kanye were spotted together on a family outing at a museum with their kids. They also enjoyed a private lunch date in Malibu. Overall, there's been some talk about Kim and Kanye getting back together. Kim is reportedly considering withdrawing her divorce petition. However, nothing has been confirmed or denied.

With Kanye's latest business move, the rapper is his sights on new projects to keep himself busy. Since Kim and Kanye's co-parenting and career endeavors keep them in constant communication, it's possible that his home goods line could bring them closer together. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is clearly not shy about publicly supporting Kanye whether they're together or not. Maybe their lifestyle brands will bring about a new collaboration between the two superstars.
