Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kim's style has only evolved over the years, and her new look can be attributed in part to stylist Veneda Carter. A global fashion icon at 40, Kim Kardashian West still serves looks that deliver as much drama as her reality show. With her sleek and inspiring ensembles, Kim is able to consult both the top names in the industry and the rising stars on the ramp. But it's the newest stylist on the block, Veneda Carter, who's been making the KUWTK diva’s Instagram game even stronger with her immaculately styled outfits.

It’s been over two decades that the world has witnessed Kim’s style transforming from trendy to immaculate. Her stream of outstanding #OOTDs is aped by influencers and starlets alike, ever since Kim first posted on her Instagram in 2010. From starting off as a stylist herself to friend Paris Hilton to now, gracing the red carpet with statement pieces like the head-turning Thierry Mugler dress, Kim has surely been keeping up with the trends. Lately, the SKIMS owner has been wowing her 190 million-plus Instagram fans by bringing back plush velour in style. Along with her signature ponytail ‘do for company, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has been color blocking and mixing textures to create trends surely worth stealing. And for those wondering who’s been assisting Kim in maintaining her minimal aesthetic in the best way possible, it’s someone who on the contrary maintains a low profile herself – Veneda Anastasia Carter.

According to WWDwho spoke to Veneda about her fine jewelry fashion collaboration, there’s not much that the Internet knows about the Danish-creative. Veneda's Instagram does boast of a few posts dedicated to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians superstar, however, most of them are untagged. The stylist, based in Los Angeles, reportedly works for both Kim and her rap mogul husband Kanye West at Yeezy. Last June, Kim dedicated an Instagram story to the 28-year-old Veneda with the caption, “Happy bday to the coolest girl i know.” After this story, Elle DK wrote about Veneda, who used to go by Veneda Bundy before her October 2019 wedding, who has modeled for Yeezy as well as SKIMS. Reportedly, the first time that Veneda ever spoke about her association with Kim was in a post from 21 May that she’d captioned, “the baddestttt kim @kimkardashian,” on which Mrs. Kardashian West has commented with, “The best photographer."

Veneda Carter had left her home in Copenhagen for New York City when she was 19 to begin her career as a model that she continued for 15 years. During her modeling days, Veneda traveled for work, stayed in Berlin, but in spite of making a “decent living,” was “anxious and unhappy.” It was after Veneda made a move to Los Angeles that she stepped into the world of styling, which she says is “like creating art, almost.” For Kim’s stylist, her craft isway more complicated than people think it is, just putting a nice outfit together. It’s about colors, proportions, tailoring.”

Veneda, who creates looks that are masculine, yet feminine and sexy, takes influence from rap and hip-hop. “The Eighties and Nineties, early 2000s, that whole era,” inspires Veneda, who was introduced to the genre by her brother as a kid. Just like Kim, Veneda is also big on collaborations, and she’s recently worked with Fie Isolde on a collection that combines her “cool, street” style with Isolde’s signature showcasing of the organic rawness of gold. The collection that carries earrings, necklaces, and rings in 12, 14-carat gold has been modeled by Veneda herself.

What separates Kim’s style from the scores of her celebrity peers is her elevated take on athleisure and monochromatic earthy-tones that make her outfits approachable yet artsy. And with stylist Veneda Carter's vision only adding to the Keeping up with the Kardashians icon’s fashion-forward wardrobe, it’s easy to see Kim creating more viral fashion moments for everyone to follow in the future.
