In a deleted scene from Big Brother Australia VIP, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Caitlyn Jenner discusses her feud with comedian and talk show host Ellen Degeneres. In 2015, Caitlyn officially announced her transition from male to female on the cover of Vanity Fair. The reality tv star graced the cover in a white corset along with the headline "Call me Caitlyn." A few months later, Caitlyn appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show to discuss her transition and raise awareness for the trans community.

While the two had a civil and moving conversation about identity and being authentic, the host later asked Caitlyn about her controversial views surrounding same-sex marriage. Caitlyn has angered fans many times with her political views. She's been honest about being a conservative, and many people feel this is contradicting as the Republican party isn't always very supportive or welcoming of the trans community. When she sat down with Ellen in 2015, Caitlyn admitted she hasn't always supported gay marriage but has been more open to it in recent years. Ellen called her out for still sounding hesitant about same-sex marriage, but Caitlyn denied this.

In a deleted scene from Big Brother Australia VIP, Caitlyn explains her feud with Ellen to her housemates. The reality star explains that before she did the Vanity Fair cover, she had already planned to travel with six trans girls to raise awareness around trans issues. One of the girls, who happened to be a huge Ellen fan, planned to go to nursing school but was struggling to find the money. Caitlyn says that she called Ellen for help; however, the host reportedly only agreed to help if Caitlyn was on the talk show with the girl.

The KUWTK star discussed that she was very caught off guard by Ellen's questions surrounding her gay marriage beliefs. She also felt like the host misunderstood her and was making her out to be against same-sex marriage when she wasn't. Caitlyn felt especially betrayed when Ellen later went on The Howard Stern Show and told him that Caitlyn was against gay marriage. The star then accused the talk show host of using her family members for views for her talk show and revealed she wanted to call ex-wife Kris Jenner and say, "why don't you just ban any of the kids from being on Ellen?" She then said she ultimately decided not to get involved.

It seems like both sides of the feud have some strong reasons to be angry at each other. On one hand, Ellen has been out of the closet since 1997, and as any gay person knows, having people disagree with one's sexual orientation and desire to marry can make their life incredibly difficult. On the other hand, Caitlyn has every right to be upset that her words were possibly twisted and that the comedian betrayed her. Maybe the two will forgive each other in the future, but for now, it seems the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star will not be appearing on the talk show for its final season anytime soon.
