While on The Tonight Show, Kristen Bell and Jimmy Fallon sang a medley of Disney songs to celebrate the release of Frozen 2. Loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale The Snow Queen, Frozen was released back in 2013 and went on to become a sensation. Not only did it garner a whopping $1.276 billion dollars at the box office, but it even went on to win Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards, so it came as no surprise when a sequel to the film was officially announced. The highly-anticipated sequel is set to release next week on November 22 and early reviews have praised the film, calling it a gorgeously animated and more mature follow-up to its predecessor.

Bell, along with Idina Menzel, returned to the sequel as the voices of Anna and Elsa, respectively. Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad also returned to their respective roles as Kristoff and Olaf, with a flurry of new voices also joining the cast. Taking place three years after the events of the first film, Frozen 2 aims to answer questions leftover from the first film, such as where Elsa's powers came from and what happened to their parents. The film also boasts some catchy new tunes, which Bell took to sharing with Fallon on his late-night show Tuesday night.

To celebrate the upcoming release of the film, Fallon and Bell sang a variety of Disney songs on The Tonight Show. Starting from "When You Wish Upon A Star", all the way up to Frozen 2's powerful new ballad "Into the Unknown", they truly didn't skip a beat. Fallon even tries his hand at hitting those mega-high notes that Menzel seems to do so effortlessly in her ballads. Check out the full video here:

"Into the Unknown" is sure to become another massive hit song for Disney, rightfully following the path of "Let it Go". This new song, once again, is made specifically for Elsa as she tries to track down a voice that keeps calling to her. The soundtrack is set to release this Friday, but fans can still hear small snippets of the songs from the film online.

Considering that Frozen 2 is projected to have a $100 million opening weekend, it's a sure thing that Disney will have another smashing success at the box office for 2019. As far as records go for this year, Disney became the first studio ever to have 5 movies cross the $1 billion mark in a single year. Those 5 films were Avengers: EndgameAladdin, Captain Marvel, Toy Story 4, and The Lion King. There was also Spider-Man: Far From Home, which was co-produced with Disney's Marvel Studios, and there's still plenty more to come this year from The Mouse House. Along with Frozen 2, Disney also has the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker coming up in December, which will surely be another box office success. It's safe to say that 2019 has been a monumental year for the Mouse House, and Frozen 2 is already looking to be another home run for the studio.
