With it quickly becoming a fan-favorite, Kristen Bell has a hilarious apology for parents who have had to constantly rewatch Frozen. Bell starred in the 2013 Disney film as Anna, the younger sister to the ice-powered Elsa who sets out on a journey to find her estranged sibling and resolve her emotional struggles in order to clear their land of its eternal winter. Alongside Bell, the cast for the original Frozen included Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, Santino Fontana and Alan Tudyk.

Scoring rave reviews from critics and audiences alike and grossing over $1.28 billion at the box office, Frozen quickly became a worldwide phenomenon, garnering two Oscars for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song with "Let It Go." The film's critical and commercial success led to the greenlighting of Frozen 2, which finally hit theaters in 2019 to similar critical and commercial acclaim, though didn't bring home its sole Oscar nomination for Best Original Song. While the future of the franchise remains largely unknown, one star has a funny response to how the original Frozen has stood the test of time with audiences.

While appearing at the D23 Expo (via CinemaBlend), Kristen Bell reflected on the legacy of the Frozen franchise after it launched a decade ago. During her speech, Bell hilarious apologized for parents who have had to constantly rewatch the hit Disney film, assuring she is in the same boat as them, though praising her time with the franchise. See what Bell said below:

I would like to say that I'm sorry to every parent who has had to listen to 'Frozen' on a loop. I feel you, I see you, I am you. I get it. Disney taught me to dream big and follow your heart. And that it is totally appropriate to bust out into song at any moment, which I really appreciate. Playing Princess Anna has been the highlight of my life I think — I mean other than my kids and stuff.

Though Disney is well-known for the majority of their films becoming critical and commercial hits, many have expresses shock at the sheer popularity Frozen has enjoyed in the years since it came out, becoming one of the most talked-about films in the studio's library even at the time of its release. Bell isn't the only actor from the film to have to apologize for parents having to constantly rewatch Frozen, with writer/co-director Jennifer Lee having shared her gratitude for fan support changing towards apologies for those who have had to put up with their kids wanting to frequently revisit the film. Even outside the film itself, Frozen's "Let It Go" became a viral hit in the same vein as Pharrell Williams' song "Happy" from Despicable Me 2, where parents and general listeners couldn't escape the popular song.

Bell's hilarious apology for parents having to constantly rewatch Frozen should come as a sweet ode for both young and old fans of the hit Disney film. While Frozen 2 may not have brought home any Oscars like its predecessor, the film's larger commercial success in comparison to the original has left many hopeful for another installment in the franchise, with Bell even teasing this past June that a Frozen 3 could happen as the cast remain interested in returning. In the meantime, audiences can risk getting the franchise's songs stuck in their head by revisiting the first two Frozen movies streaming on Disney+ now.
