Pretending to be in love with someone else - maybe even someone not particularly likable or agreeable - is a big part of acting. Many stories involve love of some kind, and it's an actor's job to portray that love in a convincing manner. Even if the actor hates the other. In some rare cases, the job is made incredibly easy thanks to a real-life love between the two performers.
