Amid Kourtney Kardashian's engagement to Travis Barker, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians couple is reportedly trying to get pregnant. Kourtney and Travis already have a big blended family with three children each. But the engaged pair allegedly wants to add a baby to the bunch. Kourtney and Travis reportedly have been working on expanding their family, even if a baby comes before the wedding.
Kourtney and Travis continued to keep their love on top after the Blink-182 drummer popped the big question last October. The couple and longtime friends had been inseparable since going public in January 2021 and, following the beachside proposal, Kourtney and Travis continue to enjoy PDA-packed outings and time with their six kids. Travis is reportedly comfortably taking a step back and allowing Kourtney to take the lead in planning their wedding. With it being his third marriage and Kourtney's first, the Poosh founder is set to experience a whole new world. Now that she's found the man to spend her life with, Kourtney is reportedly ready to take another big step.
The couple has reportedly been trying to conceive a child naturally for some time. “Right when they got serious, Kourt and Travis decided to put effort into getting pregnant,” a source told Us Weekly. “It was a no-brainer for both of them because they’ve set their hearts on a big family and agreed there was no point in delaying or waiting to be married first.” While they're “trying to get there in the natural way,” Kourtney and Travis are also “looking at IVF.” While Kourtney “could be pregnant already,” insiders told Us Weekly it's “highly unlikely” that the couple would make a public announcement anytime soon. “Their close friends and family are all aware it’s in the works," the source revealed, noting "that it’s just a matter of time before she confirms the news they’re expecting."
It's been a while since either of them has welcomed a child. Kourtney shares Mason, 12; Penelope, 9; and Reign, 7, with ex Scott Disick, while Travis' kids--Landon, 18; and Alabama, 16--live with the rocker, and he still maintains his step-father role to Shanna Moakler's eldest daughter, Atiana De La Hoya. With it being over seven years since Kourtney has given birth to a bundle of joy, she apparently is open to experiencing another pregnancy. The Disick and Barker children are also all old enough to be excited to welcome a little brother or sister. Kourtney reportedly was so impressed with Travis' parenting skills that she became excited about "blending their families as one."
To add to the positive vibes, both Kourtney and Travis' exes have eased up any bitter feelings they had over their relationship. While Scott hasn't been seen spending time with Kourtney since she started dating Travis, he also hasn't been caught in any leaked DM scandal revealing his criticism of the couple. Shanna made it through Celebrity Big Brother season 3 without bad-mouthing Kourtney. Despite reminding viewers that she once called Khloe Kardashian a "donkey," Shanna managed to keep it clean. A new baby could be exactly what Kourtney and Travis need to get everyone on board with their relationship and heal any broken wounds with their exes.
