Insiders for the pair have teased the "lust" that exists between the drummer and the reality star, and how their long history as friends has helped to build an unbreakable bond between them.
After years of dodging dating rumors and declaring their friendship, Travis and Kourtney finally decided to try out a romantic relationship. Back in 2018, the two fueled dating rumors after being photographed out together on lunch and dinner dates following Kourtney's breakup from Younes Bendjima. But Travis was adamant that Kourtney was just his friend and nothing more. However, in recent months, a romance developed after sources say their kids helped bring them together. With the two being neighbors, they were already spending increased time together. It was only a matter of time before the "All The Small Things" rocker made a move on the Poosh founder.
Now, close sources are sharing how real the chemistry is between the two stars. "Kourtney and Travis are in total lust over each other and she doesn’t regret going public with their relationship at all," the source told ET. "The relationship was a long time coming because the attraction has always been there on both sides," the insider added. Although being in "lust" doesn't sound indicative of a long-term relationship, it seems Kourtney and Travis's romance goes deeper than just their physical attraction. While physicality is an important aspect of their relationship, their bond seems to be more than just skin deep.
Kourtney and Travis's families seem to be a big part of why their relationship works. Travis co-parents his two kids with ex-wife Shanna Moakler while Kourtney co-parents her three children with ex Scott Disick. During Christmas, Kourtney gifted Travis's daughter, Alabama Barker, a designer handbag. Most recently, she was seen leaving heart emojis on Alabama's photo with her sister, Atiana De La Hoya. The move appeared to tease the close bond the blended family has with each other. On International Women's Day, Travis celebrated the day by posting a photo of Kourtney on his Instagram Story.
Insiders have shared how smitten the punk rocker is with the reality star. He gushed about her while on The Drew Barrymore Show last week. "I'm spending time with a woman who's, like, a great mom, who's, like, a great friend and you don't have to worry about any of those things, it just comes natural," he said while comparing her to some of his exes who didn't have kids and had trouble understanding his lifestyle.
