In January, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker officially announced that they’re dating. Ever since, fans of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians crew have been obsessed with the glam-punk duo. Sources close to Kardashian noticed a change in her, which is also reflected in her recent fashion choices.
Kourtney Kardashian is a committed and dedicated partner. Usually, when she falls in love, she falls hard. Her previous relationship with Scott Disick, which began in 2009, showed us that. Not only did she have children with Scott, but she also helped him navigate his addiction and mental health issues. Eventually, it became evident to Kourtney that she had to call it quits with Scott in 2015. After their split, Kourtney briefly dated Justin Bieber, but their romance was short-lived. Then, the reality star dated Younes Bendjima for two years, but their 14-year age gap and differing lifestyles caught up to them. Now, Kourtney is dating Travis Barker. Yet again, she’s fallen hard, even to the point where it has changed her attitudes and fashion.
A source told ET that the Kardashian-Jenner clan has “never seen her like this before," referring to Kourtney with her new beau, Travis. Apparently, the two lovebirds “are obsessed with each other.” The change in Kardashian can definitely be seen through her Instagram posts too. She’s choosing to wear more edgy outfits, like a The Cure band t-shirt, combat boots, and a skull-patterned Alexander McQueen scarf. Other outfits incorporate a lot more black, leather, and an overall punk vibe. Before confirming her relationship with Barker in January, her style was more cute, posh and, glamorous.
“They’re so in love and constantly fawning over one another,” the source from ET said about the reality star, rock star duo. “They have such a strong connection and can’t get enough of each other.” Even though their romance may seem overwhelming, the insider noted that they’ve found a way to support each other. “Travis makes Kourtney feel special and he is always showing her how much he loves her and how important she is to him. Kourtney has been extremely loving towards him as well.” Despite this, the Kardashian-Jenner clan is reportedly shocked because they’ve never seen such a drastic change in Kourtney.
When a new romance emerges, it’s a time to be inspired, which appears to be what Kourtney is going through. She’s expressing her new love through fashion and there’s nothing wrong with that. In fact, it’s awesome to see this Keeping Up With the Kardashians star happy, evolving, and expressing herself.
