Kourtney Kardashian, star of The Kardashians, was out and about for the Fourth of July with her husband Travis Barker, who Kourtney recently supported during his hospitalization. On June 28, Travis was rushed to the hospital for what fans now know was a life-threatening case of pancreatitis, due to a mishap during an endoscopy. Kourtney was said to be by her husband's side throughout his hospitalization, and his 16-year-old daughter Alabama Barker asked her fans on social media to pray for her father. Kourtney recently called out the paparazzi for selling photos of her walking around LA while Travis was in the hospital. Kourtney revealed that the photos were actually taken weeks ago, and she didn't leave Travis' side during his health issue.

Kourtney was also recently called out by fans over her Fourth of July Instagram posts. The star shared the same post her sister Kim Kardashian shared where they both claimed they were not celebrating the holiday this year due to the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade. However, not long after, Kourtney re-shared Poosh's Instagram story promoting a Fourth of July sale. Fans thought the posts were very contradicting and hypocritical and added to the tone-deafness of the whole Kar-Jenner family. On the other hand, Kendall Jenner did not claim to protest the holiday and was seen in The Hamptons with Devin Booker over the weekend.

Now that Travis' health has been restored and he was safely discharged from the hospital, he was able to spend the summer holiday with his wife. TMZ shared photos of Travis, Kourtney, and her children Penelope and Reign in a vintage orange truck enjoying the holiday. In an Instagram story re-shared by the publication, Kourtney wears a denim Prada hat and shows off her children in the back seat while listening to "Grenade" by Bruno Mars. Travis was absent from the Instagram video as he was in the driver's seat and safely focused on the road.

Both Travis and Kourtney put out statements on social media after Travis' hospitalization explaining to worried fans what had happened. Travis expressed his gratitude that he was able to receive fast and effective treatment. Kourtney thanked god for Travis' recovery and for the love and support she received from fans. She also thanked the doctors and nurses at Ceders Sinai Medical Center in Los Angelos for taking care of Travis while he was sick. Before his hospitalization, Kourtney and Travis had been enjoying their newly married status after their Italian wedding in May.

It's good to see Travis is doing better, and he was able to spend the Fourth of July with Kourtney and her children. The four of them seemed to be having a great time in their vintage truck. Unfortunately, fans may have some opinions on Kourtney being out and about after claiming to boycott the holiday. Hopefully, they'll give The Kardashians star a break in light of Travis' health scare.
