Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian defended her frequent lavish summer vacations with her three children after an internet troll attacked her. The follower accused the reality TV star of not working.
Kourtney is a mom to Mason, 9, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 4, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. The two co-parent their three children and are often spotted taking vacations together all over the world. Because of all these trips, Kourtney has often gotten flack from her sisters for not putting in as much work as the rest of them; each Kardashian has their respective empire, of course. And now Kourtney's followers have also been piling on her. But when a troll recently came for Kourtney in the comments, she wasn't having it.
After posting a series of photos of her and her daughter Penelope on a golf course in Idaho, a follower commented “Kourtney, this is why ppl say you don’t work girl.” That's when Kourtney clapped back, writing, "We all have our priorities. So I’ll be making memories with my kids and amazing people while living my life to the absolute fullest.” This isn't the first time people have attacked Kourtney for not working enough. Her sister Kim yelled at her on an episode Keeping Up with the Kardashians, claiming she doesn't work as much as the rest of them and instead spends her time traveling. Kourtney said then that she prioritizes spending time with her family over working on her empire.
Another fan commented on Kourtney's photos that she appreciated the star for being a dedicated mom. However, when someone else chimed in, saying that working moms are dedicated, too, Kourtney once again struck back, writing, “Who says I am not a working mom? Because I most definitely am." She added that "as women, we should be supporting each other for what allows us to be our best, not being so critical and judgmental of each other. We all do things our own way.” Despite taking several vacations with her family this summer, Kourtney has been busy building her new lifestyle brand, Poosh.
It's good to see Kourtney defending herself against the haters. Everyone should judge less and just let the oldest Kardashian sister be. But, at the same time, Kourtney should acknowledge that she's incredibly lucky to be able to both launch a new company and take several ultra lavish vacations all in the same year. She wan't kidding when she said she was living her life to the absolute fullest.
